There have been a few not so good reviews of IV. We were Loki g at doing the Turkey Antiquities tour with the gulet boat cruise in Sep 2025. Has anyone any recent feedback please?
I recently booked with IV then changed my mind due to poor service and poor reviews. I had a lot of trouble getting my deposit back. I personally would find another company.
I’m wondering why I need to pay inspiring for access to the airline tickets? Apparently I will know just a month before departure of airline and times. I don’t want to be sitting separate to my husband on such a long flight, is this possibly going to happen if we haven’t chosen our seats earlier.? I also wish to book exit row and don’t appreciate another extra expense to go through Inspiring to do so. Our flights are included in our package. Thanks for any insight .
After advice on 21 day magical Spain, Portugal and Morocco Premium Small Group Tour. Has anyone been in the past 12 months? Are the bus sizes adequate to manage 24 pax comfortably?
Yes Sharon, a bus for 24 people like I experienced in Norway is plenty. You tour guide should also make sure the bus is big enough. We had mostly spare seats to put coats on so talk to the tour guide and I'm sure Inspiring Vacations can pass on any concerns in relation to that. Cheers, Lisa

Has anyone done the treasures of japan tour. The only reviews I found of this tour were not very good. I know sometimes things don't go to plan and tou just have ti go with it but have found a mix of good and horrible reviews of other Japan tours. Any I fo would be appreciated. Linda

Hi Lea We found the tour of Morocco very interesting. We saw and experienced a lot of great places. Our accommodation was fantastic, it fitted in with our tour experiences. We, as a group, only had one issue, and that was our tour bus. We had 16 people on our tour, not one spare seat, the air conditioning was totally inadequate for the full bus and the conditions we were going through. We all complained about the conditions on the bus but it was met with silence . Overall the places we saw, the accommodation we stayed in and the experiences were well worth the trip. If we had a decent bus the tour would have been perfect.

I have just come back from the Turkey plus gulet tour. Go with any other company. I have been on lots of tours and this was easily the worst. The gulet was smelly and old with stained sheets, blocked showers etc and we didn't get to see the things on the itinerary. Also we found that as Kiwis we had been charged more than twice the price that the Australians on the tour were charged. Uninspired to say the least!
We are travelling with Inspiring Vacations in July for the 22 day European tour, Has anyone done that tour for a review? And we are trying to bring our flights forward to do a tour ourselves but haven't had anything definite from them as they tell me they still haven't had the flights ticketed yet. We leave in just over 3 months and im starting to get nervous
Hi I find with Inspiring Vacations ( we call them Uninspiring Vacations) you have to continually email and ring to get an answer. Just tell them you want your money refunded for the flights as you will book your own flights there and back
Looking at doing the Spain Portugal and Morocco tour, has anyone got any feedback on this tour before I book please. I will be travelling solo and paying single supplement for own room thanks
We did this tour in April 2023 and everything was pretty good. I think it was contracted out to Mapa Tours from Spain and most accommodation was probably 4 star. Two minor communication issues, but we would use IV again.

Looking to book two trips with Inspiring Vacations to Northern Lights 17 day and Greece 15 day land and cruise. Has anyone travelled on these tours? Also what is the cancellation policy for Inspiring Vacations? Appreciate any help. Thanks, undecided.

I have just come back from the 17 days Northbound Norway and Finland tour and it was absolutely fantastic. Nothing went wrong. All boxes ticked, great bunch of people with a great sense of humour from Australia and we all had a ball. You have to remember, sometimes things can change out of their control but if the tour guide is experienced enough, they will ensure there is minimum stress. I highly recommend this tour. Go for it. Nothing wrong with it. Those who think there is, I suspect they are very hard to please. Lisa
Any feed back from people who have travelled Norway and Finland with Inspiring Vacations ... due to pay thousands of dollars as full amount.

I am currently in tour in Greece, and this company is the worst to deal with, 4* hotels are lucky to be 2* very disappointed and suck if trying to get answers fromthem. The change hotels without notice, so you rock up to your confirmed hotal only to be told they are over booked and you have to stay somwhere else i would never use this company again, . Stay away from this company

I have been waiting two weeks for this company to arrange a name change (from Jacquie to Jacqueline) on my airline ticket. I paid $250 to them and $60 to the airline, and had to send across proof of payment before they would agree to go ahead. Its now been two weeks and still no action. I get told their representatives are working on it. Today I asked to speak to a supervisor and got told someone would ring me back, and asked for the number so I could call the supervisor and still waiting on hold. Can any body tell me how long this sort of chnage would take, is it unreasonable for me to expect them to do it reasonably quickly having paid $250?? After all the bad reviews I have read I am now beginning to regret booking with this company at all.
Complaints procedure, we wish to lodge a complaint regarding a credit of $6550 that we were not advised would expire , it expired 8 days ago and due to all the booking issues since 2019 we ask for an extension ,,please let’s resolve this
I noted they did extend for some others..you didn’t have to have taken the replacement trip just booked it. Hopefully they will assist you in this.

Hello going to Sri Lanka in a couple weeks just wondering if anyone can give me some advice on anything they went through that could be helpful especially about what size bag to take lol going for 3 weeks
Bags must be limited to 20kg. Light clothing and with more than one night at locations you should be able to get some washing done. No need for anything too dressy.
Thinking of booking 17 day Norway winter wonderland in Feb 2024 it has the itinerary we want, but lately been hearing some very negative reiviews. Has anyone done this actual trip with Inspiring Vacations please.
Hi Allan. I haven't done this trip but did one to WA and NT in September. The ground content was really great but, because Inspiring had third parties on the ground, a few things went askew and contacting someone was quite difficult, both at their level and the on-ground operators.BUT . . . I twigged that if I pushed the "book new trip" option when I phoned, I got to speak to someone in Australia in a very short time!!! And they were helpful and sorted the issues. At the end of the trip I was very frustrated, as were my fellow Inspriing travellers but what seemed huge problems at the time faded into insignificance. Enjoy Norway!
Hello, Can anyone out there please tell me if they have had any success retrieving refunds from Inspiring Vacations? They are currently holding $15,000+ of my mothers fund which was for trip that they had cancelled and when she re-booked that was cancelled also. Now she has had a major health decline in which she is essentially house bound. I had been communicating with them via phone and email however 6 mths ago they said that I could only communicate with them via email which I did and that they were reviewing her case however any communication I have with them goes unanswered and I get nothing. This whole process has caused so much further stress for her that she doesn't need, Just wondering if anyone is able to assist.

We have been away on two overseas tours with Inspiring Vacations which have been first class and we have had the most wonderful time , we also have another booked in October. This is the reason I am concerned now that we cannot contact them. Dawn M
