Hi I had a service for our property from Sal Khazaal on 28th of December. Unfortunately the result of the pest control service was extremely poor. I waited for few days and started to see the live bugs around 3 weeks later. The service was for outside of our property as well. Hi I am from Victoria I got rodents treatment done seven months ago and was covered for 6 months warranty where the person came few times to attend my property. In the beginning the noise was very much loud and use to come mostly from the roof and sometimes from the walls but after the treatment the roof noise stopped but still the noise comes from the two walls. I made the videos as well to show it to the pest controller and told him that once I saw a small little mice in my garden outside. He refused to help me and told me nothing can’t be done if they are in the garden there and going through the weep holes as they are very tiny and can easily get inside but we can’t closed the weep holes as it is mandatory got the properties to have them to let the excessive moisture go out. I am very much worried if they could damage the wiring as mostly the noise comes from one of the wall where my refrigerator is and the other wall where my TV is. Can someone plz help me. Thank yu

Get metal flyscreen cut it into strips approx 100mm wide by 150mm. Roll it up and put in your weep holes, push them in so they're not visible. This will help keep cockroaches out, I assume it will stop mice as well. A pest guy recommended we do this, works well, rarely if ever see cockroaches, with or without spraying. Its a cheap option for long term solution. Maybe try it. Weepholes will still drain.
I am not sure if its birds in the roof cavity or rodents. Why i think it may be birds, is the scratching seems to be in the same area. My husband is in his 70's and cant get up into the roof to see. Is this something that Jims can do and remove nests if there are any?
Yes. Jim’s will enter the roof space, inspect and then discuss options with you. Birds in the roof space would be better than rodents. I'm not sure how a bird might access the space so it is probably rodents. I have to admit, I have much more space in my brain now that I’m not wondering what is in my roof or where the next trail of ants will appear. I wasted so much time and money trying to get rid of the ants. In future, Jim’s will be my first call instead of the last resort. Ask for Mario Z (Melb West) if you’re in Melbourne.

I have some wasps flying in my back yard for the first time approximately 20-30 wasps. Is this mean I have a nest? If so can you help and what would be the cost. Thank you
We have had wasps in our front and back yards. We have had several nests of Paper Wasps over the years. I would find them when weeding or cutting grass type activity. Their nests are made of chewed cellulite type material and are under large leaves or in the corner joints of bricks. Not many wasps to a nest; nest is about 10 - 12 cm across. I just sprayed with Mortein type surface spray and got inside quickly - they come out to attack anyone close; the sting is intense but not 'poisonous.' Can't help with any other type of wasp.

Hi Nicole It will depend on how many cockroaches there are. Cockroaches are a different treatment to a General Pest as the products use to combat them work differently. For example with cockroaches out tech may need to use non repellent products that they can not sense. With however a general pest treatment, repellent products are use to drive the pests out of your home.

Hi Sapana Cost will depend on the level of activity. Once of treatments with no warranties start at $180. In most cases to get cockroaches under control it will require two visits. This will also keep them away for a long period of time. To get a more accurate quote, your local technician would need to talk to you. what can i do if i find mice at home?
Hi Zhijie. If you find mice in your home you need to look for points where they can access. For example if you have a gas cooktop or oven then mice often access kitchens from where the gas pipe goes through the wall. If there are gaps under front and rear doors this is also where they can access your home. If you go to a local hardware store you can ask for pest strips that will seal this gap up when the door is closed. Just be aware that mice maybe coming in from your roof and even if you do the suggestions above they may still find their way in. You might then need the help of a pest controller to get rid of them and help you
