Can I see reviews from people who have done the course and had successful deals? There are none here. I don't accept that they are not going to leave a review if they have made a heap of money. They don't have to go into full details. There are people on the website that have testimonials. Why don't they post them here too, if they are genuine? This is the number 1 reason I won't buy the course. I asked their salesperson if I could speak to someone who has had success and the answer was no. After being in business for 17 years can't find anyone that has succeeded other than your own curated testimonials. Only from people full of hope with no success yet or negative reviews. I'd love to see follow-ups from the positive reviews that are here, have they achieved success after 3 months, 12 months, 4 years?

Brad the website 'testimonials' in my experience should never be relied upon as that can be from friendly requests. There are a mountain of sites out there all claiming great testimonials. Google reviews are more to the point and accurate. I chased after it, spent a few days in car chasing the madding crowd around looking at site Mark Rolton had either built or claimed to have purchased for future development. I had a few brief moments with him, he's personable to be sure. My disappointment lay in not being able to present a proposal directly to him as explanation was needed as well as confernce calls internationally but never got past the Gold Coast minions. I also did further research into the likes of George Focus, Aaron Sansoni and just like Massland, they all take $5,000 from you (entry level) and from having experienced financial loss at 2 out of three, I can assure once you pay your money you are pretty much on your own. Do the maths on the seminars, 250 + people in a room and say 10% commit - 25 @ $5000 and the room hire and lunches are paid for, and the presenters get to drive away in their Lamborghini's and a pocket full of folding - probably in axcess of $60,000. It's not as expensive as MLM's but the system is the same, just more sophisticated and slick.

So Ive recently got a call from one of marks employees and I have postponed the payment for a week later but he has taken my details and my card details down so he could make the first transaction this week. my fault I should have done my research before hand. anyways, Ive canceled my card so that first payment does not go through and also messaged dean saying "id like to decline his offer". what else should I do? Im scared if i entered some sort of agreement that I cant back out off!

Even if he manages to debit your card you would still be able to get a full refund. Massland provides full refund if you cancel within 21 days or so. In addition Consumer Protection Law applies in order to prevent a rip off. So I guess that you should keep an eye on your account balance. Don't stress as you seem to have already done what's needed to avoid being stuck on that roller coaster ride of cloud nine followed by disillusionment.

I wasn’t prepared to be paying 500 to do the course let alone paying this amount for 12 months. When George said will that be visa or MasterCard I will charge I was like what? I’m not prepared to give you my card details. George will now be calling me this Thursday as I postponed the payment to discuss with my husband. Although I like the pitch and it’s very motivational and yes I want the get financial freedom will this actually work if I get deals together and how long before settlement? I’m kinda put off with frequent responses of the student helpline not being so helpful and reachable. What do I do if I can’t get through to the student helpline but I need the help immediately?

Hi Jane I have been looking into this for the past week after watching his webinar. It all sounded great...no money up front...blah blah blah “IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT PROBABLY IS!” I googled [name removed] reviews’ and found heaps of forums with people who have been scammed by Massland. If they really stand by their program they should deduct the cost for the program out of the first deal you make once money changes hands. But they won’t do that because, in no way, is this a “sure thing”.

They talk about ‘doing the work’ which most of us are willing to do but not so someone else gets all the benefit and we just get into more debt. They want the program costs up front because they know most people won’t be successful.

Did you noice that all the 5 star reviews above are first time reviewers? Fake? I think so.

I really wanted this to be legit. I thought it sounded mutually beneficial and I was willing to do the searches and put in the hours, especially for no money up-front, which I don’t have anyway. [name removed] seems like a knowledgeable, genuine, trustworthy person but don’t all con-men?!

Because of people/companies like this one, I ALWAYS research them thoroughly before handing over ANY money. Fool me once...

This is probably the best, objective review of the course I found.

Good luck.

Hi BunG75! Thanks so much for the responses. And yes, I took my gut instinct after reading some of the negative reviews and opted out before I got the call from George. It’s funny that morning he sent me a courteous text message saying he looked forward to be speaking with me and taking my first step to into financial freedom. Glad I didn’t. I would’ve ended up in financial ruin more like.

Some people truly have no idea, Their gut feelings tell them something so they use that as an excuse to give up. This course is no different to any other course or uni degree, Im curious, if you go to uni to become a dentist do you have to pay your uni course fees up front or do you pay it back once you complete your first root canal, or what happens if you complete the course but decide dentistry is too hard to do so you give up and make excuses. Wake up people there are multiple success stories that have come out of Massland including myself

Has anyone had someone offer to buy their property saying they are from Massland property developers? The logo is the same as the one for this thread. I’m just very hesitant to engage with them

Bec P.

I've just had the same thing happen and was curious. How did you go Jazmin C?

Jazmin C.
Jazmin C.

Hey Bec! I called the number we got on the letter out of curiosity. The guy I spoke to was really nice and everything but he did reveal the catch. According to him they offer above market price to you BUT settlement is 2 YEARS from time of offer being accepted. So once you engage in a contract they get permits etc against your property over the 2 years so by the time settlement comes around they start straight away. To me it doesn’t seem very viable as a lot can happen in 2 years and what happens if they pull out.. not for us but I’m sure some people go for it!

This is actually a common way for developers to conduct the business of purchasing property they want. I have had family sell their property and it play out this way, and have known of others same. It is a way for them to lock in on the property they want, then get all relevant local government approvals etc and then they finalise the purchase when they are sure they can proceed - the contract is signed subject to all government and statutory authority approvals, the time frame is agreed on ie two years, and if the buyer/developer has not been able to obtain what is necessary to proceed, then can terminate the contract with deposit refunded. This is all legal and actually fair enough I think - dealing with government authorities / lodging plans and applications / getting approvals etc takes time and there are fees involved and no developer wants to outlay time and money on a property they do not have a contract on - and can and does often work for the seller who can stay on/in the property for another two years. Is probably only negative to the seller I guess if the price of the property is likely to rise significantly in that time, but the developer usually offers more than market value to start with. Of course, always seek advice from your own solicitor and have your solicitor peruse any contract before signing.

"Of course, always seek advice from your own solicitor and have your solicitor peruse any contract before signing." Extremely important advice, signing a contract without advice from a solicitor is a risk, the more value and obligations in the contract the greater the risk and the more important you get independent professional advice and understanding.

He is a fraudster who is making millions of dollars ripping of idiots who want to go out of 9-5 cycle using property, I have seen 4500+ subscribers on his facebook page who are obviously allowed to subscribe to his page only if they have paid the $5000 he asks for his online database of self help stuff to get in to rooming house business, if you multiply that subscriber numbers with $5000 its whopping $22,500,000, that's a crazy 22 millions dollars, no wonder Mark Rolton (make huge commissions on the deal you bring to the table by doing all the leg works for him and give you 1 percent of that chunk you thinking wow I made so thousands of dollars in money whereas you made him millions in commission), Dymphna Boholt (She makes money on every deal and property you buy through her or her network of agents and brokers gets her share of the chunk from them), and Ian Ugarte have become millionaire by ripping us nine to fivers who work their _ off to provide rooming houses and subscribe to his online database of self help materials to make them all multi-millionaires.

Wake up people and stops getting folled by flashy cars, private jets and enormous mansions in the background, you can all get them on rent and film a nice video of yourself if you like for that $5000+ you give them for subscriptions, as that is exactly what these people did when they were not a millionaire and were broke, not the sad made-up story of struggle to riches they tell you to win your heart.

You would ask how do I know so much because I know how to create these scams and I could have become one of them and made millions, but I am not that kind of person. Ripping some innocent people off through Facebook and social medias, and living like a king does not make you a human, its called a leech or parasite, who lives of others blood.

Feel free to message me if you have any questions.

I attended the one day introduction yesterday. I found it interesting as I don't use my equity or deal with Banks. We use Mark's money to make us money. If you have a bad credit rating this would be an opportunity as you would only play the part of searching for properties. Plus you make offers to the seller higher than the asking price not below .

I will keep you posted as im going to give this a go. I paid in full but I am willing to put in the hard yards as it's not my equity being used it's Mark's money at the end of the day. It's not a quick rich program . He tells you that from the start. You need to spend money to make money . I've lost over 200,00 with financial advisors that cost me more than $5,000.00 . I am giving this a go. I'll keep you posted of my journey .
