Why could the tenants not have access to the landlord details? Isn't it unfair to the tenant to be totally unfamiliar with the person owning the property???
I don't see a need for the tenenant to know who the owner is..All negotiations are done via the Managing Agent, which is what they are appointed to do and are paid for.
I rented a shop from a building managed by micm and try to get approval for electricity connected and it been 4 months already and the OC manager just been pushing me around and ignoring me. Is she just a bad blood or this is the company culture?
Hi Terrance - I've spoken to the OC manager and they've advised that they have been chasing to get all of your paperwork completed. Unfortunately without the required documents from you they can't proceed. They will contact you again to clarify further and prioritise your connection
Well, I still get no contact from anyone and may I know what is incomplete? Submitted everything she need including the electricity information which was done back in august and no further information required by her since 25/10. Talked to her on 7/11 again and she told me that would be discussed in the quarter OC meeting on 16/11 and get me updated then.
On 18/11, a phone conversation with her indicated she would send me "something" by end of the day. Got nothing in writing from her since then, writing to her and get no reply, calling her and gone into voicemail.
I showed up in her office on 23/11 and she told me she get me "something" by 3pm 25/11. Got nothing from herself since then.
Have to put in a few OC complain form for this matter and still no correspondence from your company yet.
The OC manager from you company been changing every year. You have Axxx for 2013, Joxxx for 2014, Scxxx for 2015 and jaxxx for 2016. I am not keen to be wait for a new OC manager in 2017.
Who is in charge of MICM senior manger? If the owner has been treated unfairly, who will look after this? thank you.

I was trying to organise a move out cleaning with MICM and I was a bit shocked that they quoted me $350 to use their cleaner. I mean, is that figure for real? I have searched online and the max any cleaning companies would charge is $150-$200. Isn't it illegal to charge extra on top of the cleaner's rate?
I'm not sure about that. But I think is quite normal cause they arranged it for you, they at least need something in return. But it's quite shocked they charged you a lot..
Hello We don't have a cleaner that works for us, however we do have cleaners we recommend. We acknowledge that there are always going to be cheaper cleaners, however we have found that they only do half the job and we have had alot of issues whereby the job is not up to the required standard and tenants have had to pay more money to have the property cleaned again. You do get what you pay for. If you would prefer to use a cheaper cleaner, just ensure that you specify exactly what is required to be cleaned.
If you would like to get a few different cleaners names from us we would be happy to recommend some to you. We can also tell you companies to stay away from! Ultimately we want you to the property cleaned so you can get the bond back, this way it is nice, easy and pleasant for all parties.
Feel free to contact your property manager for names of cleaners.

Hi Jennelle, May I ask then in regards to your above response, why wasnt a recommended cleaner from your company, used when my previous tenants had vacated? As a prior, paying customer of MICM, I would of course expected my property to be maintained at a superior standard which obviously was not done under your property management.
As a result, I had to pay out of my own pocket to get the apartment cleaned up to standard.
How do you also answer the fact when I questioned the cleanliness of my vacated apartment to my then property manager, all she had to answer was, "you chose to only have one month bond which was used to pay for my last month's rent"?

They tried to take from our bond for unnessasary cleaning when we moved out. I refused to sign and opted to go to court. After some time went by they had the clean done for $190. There a joke. Don't touch them again

Behind the scenes " Central Equity Limited " ABN 27 006 708 738 is pulling the strings and basically insider trading in Melbourne real estate by dictating property price booms and falls. Go to ABN lookup and see how many "Rival " companies "Central Equity Limited " is in direct control of. They have been playing the people of Melbourne for fools. Fatcat liberal party donors getting richer and richer while the every man has to work harder for his pay. Do your research dont take my word for it.
