Hi Lubka, Thanks for reaching out. You have come through to the Australian Team. This is a New Zealand model of seat. We recommend contacting our New Zealand team via customerservice@dorel.co.nz or 0800 628 000. Regards, Claire - Mothers Choice Team.
Thank you
Which year the Nomad was discontinued?
Hi Nohora, This seat was discontinued approx 2012. We recommend the life of a car seat to be 10 years from the date of manufacture. Regards Claire - Mothers Choice Team.

I have a Mother's Choice Royal Car Seat date of manufacture 26 May 2009 Batch No 1195. I used it for my granddaughter. It is clean and in excellent condition. Can this car seat still be used?
Hi Pamela, We recommend the life of a car seat to be 10 years from the date of manufacture and although in excellent condition, would not recommend the use of the car seat, due to it being older than 10 years. Regards, Claire - Mothers Choice Team
We bought 2 convertible car seats (Mother's Choice Allure) for grandchildren back in November 2017 but never got to use either one. I'm trying to sell them but was asked for an expiry date (didn't know it existed). The barcode shows 2013 (disappointed when I think they were already 4 years in their guarantee by that time). Can I still sell them or have they expired? Some say 6 years but I am reading 10 in your posts. Thank you
Hi Isa, Thank you for your question. The life span is 10 years and starts from the initial date of purchase, however in instances where that initial date cannot be established then the reference point should be the manufacturing date. The manufacturing dates are stamped on a white/red sticker on the back. Please contact our customer service team on 1300 809 526 or email: customerservice@dorel.com.au so they can help you in establishing the exact manufacturing date. Kind Regards, Mother's Choice Social Team.
Thank you so much for your reply. Maybe to avoid so much confusion outthere in the market the explaination of the lifespan or expiry date should be added with the guarantee in the booklet provided with the car seat at the time of purchase. I am glad I kept the receipt. Kind regards Isa
Where is the date of manufacture on the Mothers Choice car seat?. Is it stamped in the plastic or is it on a sticker?
Not sure it should be on a sticker on the side of it or definitely should be stamped on the back somewhere I no longer have this seat
Hi RayE, The Mothers Choice Nomad was built in approx 2008/2009, and would be most likely past the recommend lifespan of 10 years. There would have been a sticker on the back of the seat. If you would like to send through a photo of the standards label on the back of the seat, (it will be a little sticker with "certified product on it), with white ticks on it, down the bottom it will have 2 alpha letters and 6 numeric numbers) we might be able to give you further information.
The email address for the customer service team is CustomerService@dorel.com.au
