Are the motorised blinds easy to install?
Hi, Yes it's as simple as placing the two rubber parts on the motor, then into the blind tube. After that it's just following the programming instructions. Once programmed, they don't have to be programmed again and can be operated with the remotes.
Looking at getting a pelmet made for existing curtains to help block out light. Has anyone ordered one before?
What type of wood is your plantation shutters made out of?
Do your plantation shutters come ready made to place strait into window sill or do we need to assemble them ourselves.
They came in 2 boxes, one with the panels of Shutters ( we had 2 panels per window) and then one with the frame. The panels then sit into the frame. You have to make sure they're square but it's pretty straightforward.
How much light is cut out by your plantation shutters when closed and recessed in bedroom window frames? Thanks

Do you offer a measure and install service in Sydney?
I am no handy woman, but if you follow the instructions to measure, it is surprisingly easy. Mine fit perfectly. Hope that helps.
