Can I freeze powdered NAN HA Gold in the freezer to prolong shelf life? We won’t be able to get through a tin in 3 weeks as I am using Nan to top up with breastmilk if LO is still hungry or I’m not producing enough. If it can be frozen, for how long? Thanks
Sorry, I am not sure. I have never heard of people freezing it so you may need to ask your health nurse or email the manufacturer.
My baby is 7 months old and he is on NAN HA 2, He only drinks one bottle a day and i breastfeed him once i get home from work, is this okay? and how many scoops must i put in his cereal.
Hi, To be honest with you, I am not at all expert in this area. I write the reviews just based on my personal experience. My baby is only 2 months old and I found NAN HA1 Optipro to be working very well for her. We follow the instruction written on the tin.
Thanks,
Abhi
Hi, my son is 5 months old and is on nan gold ha opti pro stage 1, so he is on 210ml water and 7 scoops milk but he still seems hungry so would it be ok to add extra 30ml water and extra scoop formula to his bottle?
No .don't put extra water .if u put extra water just full stomach. Not energy on it .n also ur baby weight will be loose. If still angry can feed as much as he can .
I think it’s 210ml and 5 scoops of milk.
I am giving my lo nan ha 1. Until how many months should i give him number 1 and when shall we switch to number 2?
Nan pro 1 is until 6month u can use .after 6 start using pro 2.
Since the NAN HA formula has changed my son is positing after every feed and is not as interested in eating. He didn't really vomit on the old version. Any suggestions? I don't really want to change brands, but I feel like I might not have a choice.
Hi Ems I dont know what you mean by Nan Ha has changed. My son is only 3 months old, and I have been using this formula almost from his second week. He was vomiting before so much, but now he doesn't even vomit. Its been very good in the case of constipation and it has omega3 and omega 6 which I noticed other brands do not have. I dont know how old is your son. I personally think if a formula suits your son and you think you have a little bit problem better not to change it,cause other formulas might cause more problems. But if you really think this formula not suits him any more, you can maybe try another one cautiously.
30ml dist water is how many scoops of nan hw one powder?
1 scoop with the scoop provided inside the tin.
I'm giving this formula to my 3-week-old baby but after every feed she is doing vomiting, what is the reason? And she is doing lot poo, is it all normal or should I concern Doctor?
Yes go to a doctor if you are worried.. Hope your little one gets better soon

I am a nursing mom, now that my son is 5 months I can no longer give his exact amount of milk. so I decided to buy a NAN HW ONE GOLD, when I introduced it to my son he doesn't want to drink in the bottle but he drink water in his bottle..now its my 3rd day of giving him that milk and still he doesnt want to drink..what should I do please help me..
I think you need to speak to your doctor or health nurse about this. It could be that he doesn't like the formula, or it could be something else. Try a different brand and if he doesn't drink that either take him to see the doctor maybe?
Has anybody's LO gotten a rash from this formula at all? I've tried every NAN formula their all great except the reflux sucks until I got this one, now he's getting a rash from it.
We haven't had any problems/side effects. Maybe your little one is allergic to something in it? Other brands do HA formula. I know Aptamil Gold Plus does one. Have you tried others?
.
How has the rash been
NAN HA 1 800g is good for how many days for the infant to consume everything? I'm trying to budget my weekly expenses.
On the tin it states that once opened, it must be used within 3 weeks. My son is 5 months old, not on solids yet, and one tin lasts us a little under one week (5-6 days). I hope this helps.
Once the tin has been opened, how long can you safely use it for?
I couldn't find this information on the tin, but in general I think I have read somewhere that unused formula should be discarded after 1 month. My son is only on formula at the moment, so we go through a tin in less than one week. I hope this helps!
1 month is the max after opening. As marked on other product cans.
how many ounces will a 800 g can of Nan HW make?

Hello, my son is one week old. I am breastfeeding, but not enough to satisfy him. I have been topping up with 50ml NAN HA.
Can you please recommend the most convenient method of having formula ready to go? Especially for times I have no milk and baby is crying, wanting to eat?
Ie.
1. Can I prepare a few bottles with 60ml boiled water with 2 scoops formula and store in fridge for 24 hours and when needed, just heat by sitting the bottle in boiled water?
Or
2. Boil water, allow to cool and fill a few bottles with 60ml of the boiled water & store in fridge. Then, do I add formula to the cold water and heat via dipping the bottle with the cold mix in a cup of boiled water
Or do I need to reheat the water and then add the formula to the already hot water?
Any other suggestions?
Sorry for the questions, I am a new mum and just very lost
Thanks
I find the easiest way is to wash and sterilize your bottles and fill them with cooled boiled water (I keep a jug of it in the fridge to make it easier), then when my baby is hungry you can either put the bottle in the microwave to heat up the water then add your formula and make sure you shake it really well and test the temperature on your wrist - it shouldn't feel hot. Or if your baby doesn't mind you can skip heating up the water and just add the formula to a bottle with room temperature previously boiled water in it (that's what I do as my son doesn't mind and it makes it easier for night feeds). It's fine to use the microwave when you're adding formula just not for heating up breast milk as heating it that way destroys some of the good stuff in there.
