Hi I was wondering if anyone knows if my Nissan patrol y62 has factory wired CarPlay or Apple car play please. I’ve checked the manual which doesn’t really specify. If it doesn’t could I use a wireless CarPlay adaptor
No carplay or android auto But the Bluetooth works very well for your music, i don't miss android auto as the system works fine

Hey there, in the Ti-L can the kids watch different shows on their screens? Or both have to watch the same? Has anyone figured how to get content off phones/iPads?
They have to watch the same thing. There’s only 1 DVD player, just with the 2 screens :-)
Actually, can you watch different shows via different inputs. You can select a choice of DVD/HDMI/USB on either screen. eg left screen DVD and right screen USB (you would have to set the sound accordingly using the headphones/speakers for each screen sound though). You have to use the remote that was provided with car to scroll etc. eg. I use a hard drive which plugs in on the floor behind centre console for older child for left screen and headphones, and DVD for younger child with sound thru speaker (because younger child is too small for headphones to fit). I still haven't been able to figure out how to use iPhone via HDMI yet, even with all the hardware... although Chromecast is another option that would work for Netflix/Prime/Stan etc. Hope that helps.

To be honest, I think it depends largely on how it has been serviced previously.The life of any diesel is in the service,in fact any motor.Had a 2.8 TD with almost 500,000ks on it when I sold it and was still going strong.Regular service at 5000ks,be sure to run rust inhibitor,otherwise run the risk of head problem.Cheers.
Hi Guys I have a 2004 4.8L Patrol, Y61.
My patrol has an AT /snow control that keeps coming on intermittently..... Only when slowing down under 10km or at a complete stop.... The car takes off in 3rd or 4th and lacks power until it comes up to match the speed of the gear it takes off in...If I turn the car off, the computer resets and the problem goes away until another unexpected time...
I have had the wiring harness checked but nothing obvious was found by the auto electrician... I have changed out the AT controller relay. Diagnostics done by a transmission specialist resulted in the replacement of 2 solenoids and the auto trans oil. There were no issues with the transmission. The costs are starting to mount up and even Nissan are at a loss to find the cause. Other forums show that it has happened before with other 4.8s & no one has found a solution. Does anyone have any ideas or experience with a similar issue? Scotty

2004 Y61 diesel. Starting in the morning, particularly when cold, the motor starts with what seems like a double ignition - it starts followed by a second knock. Once the motor is warm then normal starting occurs. Acceleration is good, consumption is good 10/11 Ltd/100, no smoke. Fuel or glowplug???

Not sure but the 2013-2020 Y62 Patrol does. The Armada (Patrol) in the US does as well (there was a recent class action settled in the US) & I think there is a class action in the works here in Aus for the Y62

As the same problem - alternator on the way out. Replaced alternator , lights went back to normal. Watch for “dancing” movement of fuel gauge when starting. Generally a good indication. JQ
Take off the negative battery terminal for about 10 seconds, re-attach and you'll find sub-tank is reset! don't ask me why it does that. I've done it about 5 times in 6 years since new!

Hello i have a 2000 y61 3l zd. Was fine but then the turbo vent bad. Replaced the turbo and now i bearly can get any power out of the engine. Any tricks to find out whats wrong ?. No Nissan dealer available here.
Three possible reasons, first would be exhaust leak before the turbo or blockage after, after market turbo not adjusted properly, or an issue with the waste date control or adjustment

I don’t know about the 2012, but I think the same as 2015 and is 313 gram/km CO2
