Can I use Nulon Apex + for HONDA SU 2005

Lazza
Lazza

I suggest you go on Nulon's website and put your car's details into their Lube Selector. That will show which Nulon oil is best suited to your 2005 Honda. Not just engine oil, but all lubricants and fluids. I hope this helps.

CAN Nulon Apex+ 5W-40 Long Life Engine Oil 10 Litre be used in a PAJERO 2010 NT 3.2 DIESEL ?

Marin K.
Marin K.

Yes, as long as it's the same oil spec as per the manufactures oil recommendations, So basically if the oil has the same SAE/ISLAC labels or oil symbols, then i would use it? Any full synthetic 5w/40 or 5/30 weight oil should be good, but being a diesel engine I would stay with good quality oils, like they say oils ain't oils? Hope this helps cheers

Is the fully synthetic 5-30 suitable for my 2002 monaro 5.7V8 supercharged. Which has mild engine work. Thanks

Steve
Steve

Gary Fawcus, synthetic oils are suitable for high performance, high heat and highly stressed engines. Synthetic oils usually include a mixture of molecules that are similar, but which are enhanced to produce less friction and more lubrication in order to make your car run more efficiently, meaning it flows more easily than oils with higher viscosity—which helps to improve the engine's fuel efficiency. The faster the oil flows, the quicker the engine parts can turn and are lubricated. Due to your 2002 Monaro 5700 cm3 (348 cu-in) V8 being supercharged,

I would definitely use synthetic oil of a low viscosity like the 5W-30 to 0W-40 but this is not definite and don’t take my word for it! Get the appropriate advice if the 5W-30 is specifically suitable for your Monaro 5700 cm3 supercharged engine is? As there are experts that are and have used synthetic oils on the Monaro type 5700 cm3 (348 cu-in) V8’s and they are much more qualified to give you advice. For example, I’ve got a 2015 Citroen C4 1560 cm3 (95.2 cu-in) diesel that has a turbo, the synthetic 5W-30 is the only recommended oil for my vehicle and it works well and makes this diesel engine perform excellently and efficiently in all weather conditions, be it below zero or in 45c temperatures. I recommend that you get appropriate advice of the exact synthetic oil that your supercharged engine requires.

Hi there I own a 2018 MMW X5M I have changed the oil and used NULON Full Synthetic 5W-40 Long Life Performance On the bottle it says that Suits BMW The vehicle have traveled 60.000.00 klm Within 2Years The longest distance traveled at anytime was no longer than 50klm. One Month ago I took a trip to 150 klm. Distance The travelling Speed never exceeded 180 km p h In the way back the motor spun a bearing B M W dealer in Darwin is saying that the oil that I used is LL-01 But it should have been a LL-03 I purchased the oil filters from BMW dealer It is a genuine item I requested to purchase a genuine BMW oil They advised me to go to Repco and purchase 5W40 Synthetic oil I chooses NULON as I use NULON in all of my vehicles I do not believe that the Oil was the reason for the engine to spin a bearing I did not put gearbox oil or deferential oil or auto transmission oil I do not believe that the oil that I put in the motor is the reason for the engine failure If anyone from NULON can advise or explain if the oil would be the reason for the engine failure or what else may be the reason Thank you Kind regards. Ive used nulon in all my fords lpg and turbo models for years. And the load on a turbo bearing is far greater. Entire engine load is far greater. No problems works as required. Smooth as. That said read below. Eur oil has this added in it. So may be different to normal oil.

Nulon Full Synthetic 5W-30 EURO Engine Oil has added Molybdenum Dithiocarbamate to give you additional high level wear protection and performance. Molybdenum Dithiocarbamate is proven to dramatically reduce friction and provide increased engine wear protection from cold start to extreme temperatures, giving you added benefits over standard engine oil alone.

Is this product good to feed my Nissan pulsar car ?

Steve
Steve

I don’t think the Nissan Pulsar has a turbo petrol/diesel engine(s) that are here in Australia. This 5W-30 is only recommended for turbo petrol/diesel engines and has no advantages in other vehicles. See the specs of oil that your vehicle requires and use only what is recommended by the manufacturer

I’m after the Penrite Enviro 5W30 505-507. Do you stock it? Thanks

Ricardo Escobar
Ricardo Escobar

I don't know much about Penrite oil, but I so happy of using Nylon 5w-30 in my car. The oil is like new after 8k, I haven using Nulon since the day one in any of my car's, past and present, specially on Calais, Commodore, Barina, Toyota, Nissan. That's I don't have any mechanical problems.

Steve
Steve

Kathy, the Penrite Enviro 5W-30 is the same as the Nulon Full Synthetic 5W-30, its recommended for all European turbo diesels mainly, I've used both Nulon and Penrite with my 2012 1.6 Citroen C4 turbo diesel since the vehicle was new (and after the first free service, as I do my own servicing) and they are both excellent synthetic oils. Btw, the 5W=30 is the recommended synthetic oil for my vehicle and both of these oils are premium grade Aussie synthetic oils and do a perfect job.

Toyota recommend 10w30 for camry 11-17 models. Is it good to use 5w30 for Camry 2015 that has 100K+ kms on clock?

Steve
Steve

If Toyota recommends 10W-30 synthetic then it must be right, if it recommends mineral oil or semi synthetic then that is what you should use, as the Toyota Camry is not a turbo powered diesel or petrol engine so always stick with what the manufacturer recommends as that is the best engine oil or lubricant for your vehicle e.g. with my Citroen C4 eHDi B7 2012 which is a turbo diesel, Citroen recommends to only use 5W-30 synthetic oil and NOT the 0W-40 or 5W-40 synthetic,

This is what viscosity really means e.g. in a 10w-40 for example the 10w bit (W = winter, not weight or watt or anything else for that matter) simply means that the oil must have a certain maximum viscosity/flow at low temperature. The lower the "W" number the better the oil's cold temperature/cold start performance. The 40 in a 10w-40 simply means that the oil must fall within certain viscosity limits at 100°C. This is a fixed limit and all oils that end in 40 must achieve these limits. Once again the lower the number, the thinner the oil: a 30 oil is thinner than a 40 oil at 100°C etc. Your handbook will specify whether a 30, 40 or 50 etc is required. That is about it, hope this helps, cheers.

i have an 09 camry,i use 5w40 in mine,or 10w40. The 10w30 crap toyota use makes a ticking noise in the cam buckets. Use a 5w40 or a 10w40,there's no harm in it.

I have a Mercedes Sprinter 316 CDI (2011) with a dpf. It is a camper van that may sit for a couple of months then then get a 2000KM trip. What is the recommended oil to use and what change interval ?

Steve
Steve

With a DPF and turbo diesel you should only use the 5W-30 synthetic and change your oil at a 10,000kms interval.
