I chose this formula over other brands despite being one of the most expensive formulas in the market (some other organic formula cost $20 for a 900 gram CAN and this cost $35 for only 800 gm CAN) because its made right here in Australia and has dual organic certification, but it caused so much flatulence to my girl. Her farts were loud and smelly. She would literally fart almost all the time. She was on S26 before this formula and she did not fart like this. She was very unsettled and would also cry most of the time. After trialing the formula for than 2 weeks, I contacted Natura via their website contact form, yet I did not receive any response from them. It looks like they don't care about their customers and only want to sell their overly priced formula.There are other organic formulas in the market, also made in Australia and are not pricey as this one. I am someone who does not like making complaints, but surely this is not the kind of support expected from a company that charges massive amount for merely a 800 gm formula. So I have switched to another organic formula (nature's one dairy) and it has not caused any issues to my girl. She is happy and settled. It is odorless and tastes as great as any other formulas on the market. It is also not as pricey as Natura formula. Its organic and made right here in Australia and certified. I will stick to it as long as I can find it on the stores.

Any change in diet or formulation has the chance to have an impact on little digestive systems, little tummies take time to adjust to the different ingredients, it may even take a couple of weeks before they settle back down again.

It can take some time to change over from another formula successfully and it is best to do so gradually, if you are able to. We have a short guide in our website FAQs that can assist with a transition over a 7 day period which you can consult here: external link

Is this formula a bit foaming than usual?Does it cause gas in baby tummy?

Hi Anupama, We've not found the formula to be particularly foamy, however formulas can become foamy due to the fat content. We suggest the following to minimise the bubbles: • Try stirring the powder into the water, rather than shaking. • After shaking, allow to rest for 30 seconds to allow the bubbles to come to the surface and dissipate. Be sure to burp your bub during and/or after every feed to release any bubbles that do form during the feed to help ease any discomfort. If you are concerned, we suggest you discontinue use and consult your Healthcare Professional.

Please can I keep a tin of opened lactogen in a fridge?

Hi Richard, Thanks for your question, it looks you might be querying us about a competitors product! I would check with their customer team, but generally tins should be kept in a dry cool, environment - not the fridge.

For prepared formula, you can store this in the fridge for 24hrs but should discard after this time. For an open tin - you can generally use this for four weeks after opening.
