My phone was dropped off to Riverlink Ipswich Qld PTC to have a screen replaced. it is a 6 year old Oppo. I was quoted 300 so even though the phone probably isn't worth 300 it has a lot stored on it. They ordered in the screen, 2 weeks wait, then the xcyclone hit so 4 weeks later my daughter picked it up paid for it. brought the phone home and placed it on my bed. the next day I returned home and was excited to have my phone back. it looked beautiful, not a mark on it. But I thought it wasn't turning on, then realized the screen wasn't working, it was just black. I rang PTC Riverink and said I picked up the phone and the screen is black. they immediately said oh you dropped it....what in the less than one day that it was sitting on the bed. Told them there is not one single mark on the screen, no crack no nothing, it's perfect. No no you dropped it. Again I said I hadn't. I was told to being the phone in. I set my daughter in with it and she was told they would order in the screen it will arrive Thursday. I then on Thursday sent her down to pick up the phone and they wanted another 250.00.....for what, it was obviously faulty. so I told her to leave it there that Ill deal with it. Told my son and he rang them to get a male on the phone who was incredibly abusive and hung up on him when he said he didn't dop it and that they can see themselves that the screen is in perfect condition which shows it's not dropped. I am horrified by the attitude and the lack of responsibility they have taken for a faulty replacement. I had that phone 6 years wihout replacing the screen, I am carful with phones and am not a liar, it was wasn't dropped, which is obvious by the beautiful immaculate screen that it had, and my son didn't need to be abused. the phone is still sitting at PTC Riverlink. I am horrified by this.

how much would it cost to get a new screen for a lenovo tab m10 hd
Hi Lachlan,
The cost to repair a Lenvo tab M10 screen is $260. if you would like to book in a repair please email repair@ptc.net.au
ok but how is the screen 260 dollars when the tablet only cost me 249 dollars
Hi Lachlan, the repair is complex and requires more than 3 hours to complete.
I understand that part but don't you think it would be better to make it a bit cheaper because most people would just go buy a new or different one and i am not one to tell you how to run your business but i think you would get more customers if the price was lower. thankyou
Hi Lachlan,
Thank you for your suggestion, we will look into this as an option.
thank you
I wish to have my review published. I've not heard back from your company.
I was put on a plan when all I wanted was to get my son's gallaxy 12 screen fixed. Now they won't refund my 149.00 cash to fix his phone
Hi Paul, please email customerservice@ptc.net.au with a more detailed explanation and we will get back to your with a resolution.
Why to ptc offer a warranty when selling you a service ? and then not to be upheld when there is a genuine and honest claim and try to wriggle out of it at all costs . Why do you sell a franchise to people that unfortunately discredit the company name so much and why is the customer not believed when you contact customer services to resolve the situation ?
Hi Stephen, Thank you for contacting PTC with your concern. I apologize you have not had a great experience with PTC customer service/ staff. Please email customerservice@ptc.com.au, So i can look into this further for you and find a resolution.
Look forward to your email.
