23 years with RACV and I just found out I don't have choice of repairer and before my car is even evaluated based on age you want to write it off. I am angry tomorrow it's being assessef by racv repairers but I am betting when the accident is not my fault racv will write it off. So what will I be left with?? Comprehensive insurance worth crap. Who do I complain too?

what is prime cover comprehensive motor insurance ? and why am I paying $70.20 more than last year

Good morning Julie, Motor Vehicle Prime Cover is offered to policyholders aged 50 years and over who have Comprehensive, Complete Care or Motorcycle Insurance with us. It provides you with additional Aussie Assist benefits such as:

- Assistance with motor legal matters, and - 24 hour medical assistance

In relation to your premium, we advise it is calculated from a variety of risk factors. In order for us to review this further, we kindly ask that you please call us on 13 72 28 to speak with a Memberline consultant. Our Memberline team are available everyday, between 7am - 11pm (AEST).

I have comprehensive insurance. I reversed into a bollard so damage is my fault. Is the cost of repairs covered by RACV insurance?

Hi Mark, while repairs are generally covered under our Comprehensive Insurance policies, as this page is not monitored by the claims department, you will need to contact them directly to see what you are covered for under your policy.
