Can you advise what material the wheels are made out of? Also are the wheels for the Metro3 and the Metro3 Lite the same? Thanks for any help!

Hi, we are deciding between a couple of pram brands currently for our 3rd (surprise) baby and really like the look and most of the reviews we have seen for the metro 3. Just our main concern is a couple of the reviews mention about it being hard to use on grass etc and as we like family outings to markets and events we need something that would be okay on grass and the like. Any help would be appreciated thank you.
Hi Mitch, Thank you for reaching out. Redsbaby prams have been designed for Urban use and give great performance on all terrain i.e. going for walks over gravel, grass being out and about (sidewalks).
Our prams (METRO³ and JIVE³) both come with four-wheel suspension, which are based on an internal spring system (within the front wheel housing and the rear wheel axle).
Other features of the wheels which provide best performance includes:
*Front swivel wheel locks: stability on uneven terrain and long distances *Four wheel suspension: easy push and a smoother ride *Four wheel design: optimum weight distribution, providing more stability on curbs and uneven surfaces

Hi,
I have just received my Metro 3 and overall very happy with it. The one point of concern is how much the bassinet jiggles in the frame (if weighted unevenly it tips forward or back significantly). I found the video online saying this is a design feature but feel it is quite extreme. Could mine have a fault? Or has it been assembled incorrectly?
Hi Jade, Thanks for reaching out to us. It's important to remember that you're able to move it in an extreme way with your hand but once bubs is in there you won't be using it in this way. If you'd like to send us a video of the movement when it's in motion, we'll be more than happy to check it for you to give you peace of mind. Our email address is info@redsbaby.com.au
Does it come with adaptors for the capsule to be connected in the car?
The bassinet uses the same adaptor as the britax capsule (at least the one they sell on their website) just know that this particular capsules station is fastened with the seatbelt not isofix. If you have a maxicosi you will need a different adaptor. But all compatible capsules are listed in their website. Hoping that helped
Hi Alicia, Thank you for getting in touch. Our METRO³ is compatible with Britax Unity(NEOS and ISOFIX) when you use your bassinet adaptors that come with the pram. We are also compatible with MAXI COSI (MICO and CITI), Joie Gemm and Nuna KLIK PLUS capsules when you purchase the MAXI COSI adaptors with your METRO³. Please reach out to customer care on 1300 344 964 or info@redsbaby.com.au if you have any further questions.

I am wondering between Metro3 and Jive3. Apart of design and extra seat that Jive have. What else is different between these two models?
And what is the size measurement for both of them please?
Hi Maynii, Thank you for your question, the main different between the JIVE³ and METRO³ is that the JIVE can convert to become a double whereas the METRO is a single pram only. You can view the other differencesside by side here :

Other differences include; chassis design, weights, basket design and materials used.
I have added the links for the SPECS for each pram below too :

Can you upgrade the wheels to tyre/pump ones?
Hi Corrine, Thanks for reaching out. All of our 2020 collection prams have puncture-proof front and rear wheels. Both the JIVE and METRO offer high performance without the risk of punctures. We no longer offer an air wheel for our prams.

What age/size does this pram accomodate up to?
Hi There, Thank you for getting in touch with us. As all children are different and grow at different times, there is no age rather a weight that the pram can take up to. We recommend you can use your bassinet from new born until your child your child is ready to move over to the main seat, You will know that they ready to move to the main seat when they reach any one of these situations happens:
They reach the weight limit of 9kgs They reach 6 months of age They can sit up unaided
If you feel that your child needs to move to the seat before either of these three milestones have occurred, you can do so using the seat in the flat position, if you feel your bub is ready and then when moving over to the main seat, this seat can take up 20 kg in weight.

Hi Just wondering if the handling of a Metro 3 on gravel type path would be similar to the Jive 3?
Hi Aliie and Paul, Thank you or your question. The JIVE 3 and METRO 3 will perform similarly on different terrain as they are both 4 wheel designs.
