Yes. Our vehicle was vandalised and we had to pay $600 excess. When we withdrew the claim as I was able to remove the graffiti it took many hours on hold and many days to get our excess returned. And then they put my premiums up! Not happy!

Do Shannons cover people driving on L plates with an adult driver? I know an excess applies for people under 25 years.
I am not sure , however if you speak to Shannons and they say yes I would read their pdf from cover to cover to find out if there are any sneaky clauses that Shannons can manipulate to their advantage in order to make your life difficult should your ever need to claim. Do not trust their sales team.
Is there a PERSONAL AGE LIMIT for drivers insured with Shannons
Thanks for the follow up. Downloaded the PDS and read it. There is no mention of DRIVER AGE Restriction other than if issued with a medical driving restriction. Noticed NO CLAIM BONUS can be available. DO I GET THIS ON MY POLICY PREMIUM?? Please advise

Haha, now that's funny. No sir. They could care less about 'motoring enthusiasts'. It will be bodgied up where possible. Repairers are getting to the point of refusing to work with Shannons / Suncorp because of their bodgy repair policies with cheap parts and labour. Read the fine print about choice of repairer etc. They'd sooner put a plastic bumper on and spray it with chrome paint.
