How come after placing an online order, I haven't got a confirmation email?

I wanted to make a purchase using the 50% discount voucher code valid from 13th Sept till 24th September 2023

I followed the instructions listed, but when I went to "Apply code" the Spotlight Website said it would not accept the code.

I have to make the purchase online due to none of the Spotlight stores having the product in stock

How can I make this purchase & use the 50% discount voucher when you website won't accept the Spotlight Voucher code? Can you Advise how I can complete this purchase as I want to make the purchase & receive the item before my Mums Birthday on the 23rd Sept so I can give it to her then.

Hello Deborah, I am not sure if you can track an order as a guest login. In my situation, the made to measure Spotlight team member came to my home and measured up. I was not provided with a tracking link.

We wanted to purchase 2 wall pictures (Watercolour Leaves #1 and Watercolour Leaves #2) as advertised on Spotlight's site but all stores in Brisbane area showed zero stock and was told to purchase on-line. We proceeded to do so but when time came to pay for Home delivery we were charged TWO delivery costs: one Home delivery cost for EACH picture!! Hello? I booked and paid for my curtains and blinds on 1 December 2021 and finally had them installed on 8 April 2022. Unfortunately, the installer couldn't install sheers in Bed 1 Front Window because the fittings he had were wrong. He couldn't install sheers in Bedroom Master because he did not have enough tracks. He did install two curtains in Bedroom Master but I later realised they did not include the Thermoguard Lining I had specified. A rep from Spotlight came on 22 April and took the curtains away to be fixed. She said it would take around two to three weeks, and that installation of both the curtains and sheers would take place straight after that. I messaged her on 5 May for an update but have received no reply.

It is now six months since I ordered and paid for my curtains. I have had to contact Spotlight at least seven times to chase up delivery or report an error. Not once have they shown the initiative or courtesy to contact me to apologise for the delay and keep me in the loop without me having to complain first. No one has ever contacted me to apologise for the appalling service or offer any kind of redress. Spotlight customer service is non-existent. Calls to the company go unanswered and communication is limited to an internet message service. As no one has replied to my last message of May 24, my next port of call is the Department of Fair Trading.

No, they are useless as an online store, let's face it most people shop online these days. They've had many years to catch up and fine tune but they are the worse online Australian store

I bought a full house of curtains online, 10 were at my local store (click and collect), 2 came in the mail. I returned almost all of these items to my local store and decided to go for a different look and bought a houseful of blinds. The store told me they can’t print a receipt for anything bought online but that the money will be refunded to my account. A week later, no refund, not even a confirmation email. The customer care hotline won’t accept calls, the online contact form doesn’t seem to be monitored. I’ll be loading my returned order back into a trolley tomorrow and pushing it out the door and God help anyone who tries to stop me!

Take it to ACCC, they should feel embarrassed and they should hire more competent staff that can actually fulfill their duties.

I have only bought online once and luckily items arrived a couple of weeks later (but that was last year). I don't order online anymore because I think it's rude to have to spend at least $30 to click and collect! You would think any sale is a good sale.
