Hi there...I have a Ssangyong Kyron 2012 ..2.7Ltr...I cannot start on cold mornings..I think the glowplugs are okay..where can I located the Glowplug Module..or do you. Have advice for me going forward..my name is Gavin Schafer.

After trying to jump start my 2012 KYRON diesel with a charger/starter the car will not crank at all. What has happened to cause this?

I did try a battery to start with but was cranking too slow. The charger was meant to be able to be used as a starter but the problem began after one unsuccessful attempt. I expect a fuse or relay may be damaged but where to look?

My 2007 Kyron 3.2 Ltr petrol engine has dispalyed the following problem since a 35 degree day on the weekend. The engine will suddleny shut down whilst driving, then it will restart maybe after 20 minutes or longer, it will drive for another twenty minutes and the porblem will reoccur. What could be the cause of this ?

Hi Mario. I have had exactly the same problem. It was the Crank Sensor at the back of the motor. Cost $90 for the part and takes 5 minutes to replace. When they get hot from the exhaust heat, they stop working until they cool down. If it's not the Crank Sensor, it will be the Cam Sensor at the front. I have fixed this problem 4 times now on different SsangYongs.

Any ideas on how much for the replacement of engine gasket on a 2006 Kyron 3.2L petrol petrol engine. Is it worth it doing it or better giving it to the wreckers. Anyone ? Thanks

Hi I've been offered a Kyron 2007, 2 litre diesel 2,000 $ but we are being told the exhaust is stuffed does anyone no anything about the exhaust or is it a comin thing to stuff up ?

An exhaust includes the Deisel Particle Filter (DPF) and a set of sensors that monitor its ability to burn off deposits. Run a computer check and see what that says. Finding parts is the hard bit. You can buy them on eBay but you do need to know what your buying.

I have a 2012 ssangyong actyon sports diesel. We changed motors and car won't start. We bought a second hand 2012 auto motor with low Klms. My car is 2012 manual . We changed part's from my car , plus a new spicket bearing , oil an filter change. Original fuel set up from old motor. We've primed the diesel but still won't fire up . When we connected diesel in a bottle to lines of fuel filter assembly. She started and ran using fuel from bottle. Help please

I have a 2008 Ssangyong Kyron manual. The car accelerates normal but sometimes the acceleration is pathetic specially in uphills. The car won't accelerate past 1500 rpm. Only after the car jerks, the acceleration is normal again. Please help

Try some Injector Cleaner, by adding to the Fuel Tank. You may also have a blocked Catalytic Converter in the Exhaust.

Hi I have a Ssangyong Kyron 2012 diesel. The engine light comes on at times, happens after driving for while and once I turn off the engine and start again, it goes off. May not comeback for days or weeks, then might happens again. What could be the problem

Best process is take it to a Ssangyong dealership and have it scanned. The error should be stored by the car’s computer. Then proceed from that code error.

2006 d100 series does not seem to be moving through change of gears .It is auto. Not over revving and revs up well when stationary . Can anyone help.Are there solenoid controls on the auto?

The gearbox is supposed to be a sealed unit. But under the gearbox is a section which gives you access to the solenoids. You’ll need a new seal kit if you open it.

My 2010 2L Diesel Kyron when reach over 100 Kmh ,it is over heating light coming. Soon as engine stop and re start it is okay. If it is run less than 100 Kmh no problem. Please let me know the reason for this.

I have similar problem. Just replace the ENGINE HEAT SENSOR OR THE RADIATOR SENSOR. Bother are inexpensive. Your heating light issues should go away.

Hi i have ssengyong keyron 2007.When i drive long hours suddenly HDC red indicates and problem gear shifting.Already Transmission oil filter is replaced it same any suggestions for solve this issue.
