Hello, holiday house had X$$ fees and got reply from host said their will be extra $200 cleaning fees? Does Stayz do not include cleaning with Quotes shown on their website fees like AirBNB?

Stayz is not reliable, better off using Airbnb if possible. Ideally all fees should be shown though on Stayz but there’s lots of complaints with Stayz.

Has anyone has attempted to book accommodation and it failed to confirm a booking and then take $1 out of your bank account as a pending transaction?

Wondering if the transaction will go through or I’ll get the $1 back?

I booked a unit in Gc for 10 of us for my hens in Feb. Paid deposit of half the amount. Just got a email saying my change of dates has been approved and they changed them from a Friday to Sunday to a wed to Friday. I never changed them and have msgd and emailed. It says I will lose my deposit if I cancell. How the hell did that happen. I went to change the dates back and now there is no dates available. Has this happened to anyone? I'm freaking out as I don't know if they changed it because its a scam or somehow somone has and they are just going with it. There is no msg or email showing I changed it.

Hi, I have just read reviews re stayz. I am very concerned as I have booked our Italian accomodation in January through stayz. We are a family of 6 and needed apartments rather then hotels for our stay. I read all the reviews on each booking and received answers from each owner with the address etc? I’m wondering if anyone has experienced booking through stayz in Italy? I’d really appreciate any replies? Thank you Sharon

what happens if guest dose not pay second instalment ?

If the 2nd instalment was not paid then Wayan would cancel my booking. Also, I made a mistake in booking and it was March 2022 not 2021. Just the 2 options. Also I noticed in TripAdvisor a very bad rating from a guest who was very disappointed in the house and cleanliness was very poor. We re pleased we changed now.

3 family members got Covid while staying in a Stayz Air BnB, the host is going to keep their bond of $500 to cover the deep clean, on top of the cleaning fee. Is that legal? I must add the home was not that clean on arrival and the host knew nothing about any process regarding Covid issues or deep cleaning. He even tried to make them lease another property he owned, because the property they were in was booked. Im half thinking the family may have become infected after they arrived at this property. I rang Stayz, the person I spoke with was absolutely hopeless and kept reminding me that it was all about the "host"

Has anyone considered contacting solicitors about the possibility of launching a class action against STAYZ? Something needs to be done about these people.
