A big factor for me when choosing was the noise, but this thing is quiet enough to actually sleep with it on (on low, and even on high), which I hadn't expected. It's not silent, but low is quieter than my aircon, and it'll stop when the timer finishes or when it's full. It seems to work quite quickly on high, so keeping it on low over a longer period works well. The geek in me would love for more options for the timer (just 2 hr increments) but this has been fine.

The water tray is practically spill-proof, another surprise as I carefully pulled it out to empty it the first time. Until you peel open the lid of the tray, it's actually quite hard to spill. I wasn't looking forward to having another thing to store over the summer, but overall it's a fairly small form factor, and the simple, black, curved form factor actually might go unnoticed in the corner of the room, so I might not need to find room in a closet.

Overall, I knew I was spending a little more for something quality, but this exceeded my expectations!

If you want to read the instructions you have to look them up online, which is not only inconvenient, but lowers the chances of people actually reading the instructions, which can be very dangerous. In my opinion, for an appliance to come with a physical instructions manual is the bare minimum, especially when it costs almost $500. In saying that, it did have a warnings sheet (which I’d assume is mandated by law) but even then, all of the instructions need to be read to know how to safely use the machine, which is why they need to be included in the box. Secondly, the filter comes wrapped in plastic, but there is no warning or direction ANYWHERE to take it off. The only reason I knew it was there was because I had read another review that forewarned about it. This, again, is just another risk added to the list for the sake of cutting corners. Lastly, a remote would have been a nice inclusion as the only way to remotely control the dehumidifier is if you download an app. Anyways, the dehumidifier is a bit loud but works great, I have found that closing the output vent about half way reduces the noise by quite a bit. There is a bit of a rattling sound when the vent is fully open. It has collected heaps of water and puts out a bit of warm air which is good. The water is easy to empty.

Great product! Easy to operate and extracts moisture promptly. Exactly what I was hoping for. Highly recommend.

Underpowered and claims it heats 105m2 is bollocks. Probably a typo for 10.5m2.You have to sit on top of this thing to feel instant warmth. Good for a small room but that is it. Build quality is good.

control, books and papers don't have that damp feeling. The only down side it does heat up the room a bit so we run it overnight in summer and winter is fine.The air quality is crispy. This model is easy to move around on the rollers, controls are simple, easy to empty. All in all I would get another one.

deal of un-necessary correspondence. First communication of a potential technical problem was on 28th May 2026. I bought two of these units from different authorised resellers at the same time, but otherwise, they are exact. "The WHO (World Health Organisation) recommends PM2.5 levels below 12ug/m3 over 24hrs, to minimize health risks". One unit has consistently always read below 12ug/m3; the other well above 12ug/m3, over 24hrs. As a trial, the two units were placed side by side over a 33hr period, under exactly the same environmental and test conditions. The readings between the two units were 51.5% different at the end of the trial, whereas the expectation would have been that they should have both been the same, possibly with a very small + / - variation. In relation to a Warranty Claim, the response from the Australian Agent was as follows: - "Regarding the results, one unit displayed 9.7ug/m3, while the other showed 14.7ug/m3. This difference is within normal expectations, as each sensor has its own manufacturing tolerance. In addition, environmental factors such as temperature and humidity can also influence the readings, resulting in slight variations between units". As a consumer, I do not accept that that difference is at all acceptable, under exactly the same test conditions, but the Warranty Claim has been deferred. Buyer Beware! Made in China.

Love this. Easy to use with clear info panel. Has reduced headaches and sore throats while sleeping. Water tank lasts for 3 days when using for about 6 hours per day. Is quiet and optional night light is great.

rating applies to the customer service and time product arrive via the post (4 days from order to the delivery man knocking on the door). The Ionmax website offered 10% discount but the code provided wasn't acknowledged at checkout. I proceeded anyway as I could not be bothered with the hassle of chasing $50. That said i left a statement that their website checkout was not supporting the advertising. The customer service person emailed to clarify my experience and after the email chat offered to refund the amount even though my order and payment were processed and goods on the way. Their approach was genuine .

Good product, works well. Mobile app good for remote operation

I have had this unit running in my caravan in humid conditions for the last 2 weeks, and it has successfully bought the humidity down from the 80's to around 56-62%. It isn't overly quiet, but it performs as advertised and we are very happy with it.

electrical tape over all the lights (which is a pain with buttons and knowing what setting it's on), and also gaps between where the pieces are screwed together because it's beaming from everywhere. We have other brand units which allow you to turn off the obnoxious lights.

Excellent unit..ignore their instructions to install app ..google it instead..(it’s different).. Once connected it’s excellent. Super quiet, lightweight to move around and perfect for the wood stove in our kitchen. Very effective. Very sensitive.

fan setting the motor cuts in and out randomly with a hunting/surging noise. I dont think it's safe honestly.

My wife refused to have it in the room as it kept her awake.

I have been emailing "Andatech" who are apparently the manufacturers. They are very painful to deal with and the returns and warranty system is a joke. Borderlines on a scam as far as im concerned.

It has been a waste of money and time. I have other Purifiers from different manufacturers and they are great. Dont buy this junk brand.

Use it every night – Great product excellent value at the price really helps sleep we use it in conjunction with our air filter. Portable size so can travel.
