However, after a few months, it sags then it needs to be turned. King beds are so heavy to turn. If I don’t turn it, it gives me back ache. I don’t have any back issues and I’m a back sleeper.

I waited hoping that I’d get used to it. But I did not. So contacted them after 1.5 yrs to ask if this is an issue with the mattress. Apparently it is not. It’s the mattress’s way of contouring to your body and it’s expected. Their comfort guarantee only allows you to change comfort level from medium to firm or soft but I still had to pay $600+. I decided to give it another chance and went ahead to change comfort level to firm. We also tried firm at the shop and it seems comfortable.

After comfort change, it was fine until a few weeks, it still sags so it needs to be turned again 2-3 weeks. It was ok for a few weeks but now It gives me back pain. I have to sleep in another room with a Koala mattress to give me good sleep.

I think it’s better to be able to try a bed for at least 2 months and have the option to return if it doesn’t work out or at least partially refund. You won’t know just by trying at the shops for a few minutes.

excessive sag - 10cm in the middle of the mattress. Both my partner and I are now suffering from back and hip pain waking up sore and untested every morning due to our body's rolling into the middle of the bed. I have contacted the place I purchased the mattress from they have put in a warranty claim with all valid information. I have received an email from AH beard bed and then again forwarded what they requested. I missed one call from someone and then rang back with no answer after waiting well over 15 minutes for someone to pick up. I sent an email stating this to the lady I missed the call off 7 days ago and have not heard a thing back. Absolutely discussed with their customer care. This process started on the 26th of August and it is now the 15th may. Do not buy this brand as they are happy to take your money and then go missing with a genuine warranty claim had been requested. These pictures were taken with a 4kg weight imagine what a 80kg body's does.

comfortable in Harvey Norman, within 3 months it sagged in our sleeping positions and a ridge formed down the centre of the mattress. The ridge in particular made the bed feel like we are sleeping on a slope and caused shoulder and back aches. The warranty conditions are so onerous that the ridge is considered 'fair wear' and wasnt pronounced enough, and to have the bed looked at meant going without a bed for a few months and wearing the transport costs.

Having had such a long drawn out process dealing with Harvey Norman and another bed company immediately prior to purchasing the Chiro Tycoon mattress, I couldnt be bothered fighting for another refund.

I've now gone for a 'bed in a box' brand which so far has been a lot more comfortable, much cheaper, and has had better customer service. Given the difficulty of dealing with Harvey Norman and the Chiro Tycoon bed company, I figure that if there is a problem and the bed in a box company become difficult to deal with, that for the price of this mattress I can dispose of it and get multiple mattresses and still be ahead compared to purchasing another expensive name brand bed from HN.

there was nothing they could do and it could take a few months to settle in. Cried nightly about my purchase as we did not have another option to buy or money to replace. Most uncomfortable mattress ever. After about 1 year the mattress started to sag. Has both imprints of my husband and I on both sides. We are 70 and 90kgs respectively, so not obese people however has permanent sagging on each side. A big hump in the middle. Tried rotating and flipping with nil improvement. Bought a mattress topper with some hope of reprieve. Slight improvement for a few weeks however now back to where we were. Do NOT waste your money. I wake up sore and stiff every morning. Harvey Norman were useless and had zero empathy and no recourse for any return. Wish I had purchased a mattress with a sleep guarantee. Devastated as we don't know when we will be able to replace. support at all and when I rollover on my stomach to try straighten my back i can hear a spring or metallic sound like it pops. This is just awful. In store it felt Ok but what I have does not seem to be the same as in store. Think they display a top model then you get a much inferior product delivered. My partner said the firm is only just firm. Mine fells wretched and now have a sore shoulder to add to my woes. Spent huge amount at this business over the years but never again. Sealy is a much better product. With this King Coil I wake up every night and also it gets hot.

Terrific mattress! We love this – We are so happy with purchase of our King Koil Chiro Elite mattress, that we're now sourcing two more for the kids. Great cutomer service - very efficient and great communication.

delivered was immensely inferior to what was on display. It simply has no support for the lower back and hips and is just outright uncomfortable. I was previously a sound sleeper with no back complaints, but now I cannot sleep longer than 4 hours before being awoken from back pain and general discomfort. I’m fortunate that I kept my old matress in a spare room, because after 2 months of continual mattress rotations, minimal sleep and back pain from my new mattress, I was happy to swap-back to my old mattress which restored my life by providing sound sleep and eliminated my back pain. Wasted $2.5k on this pathetic excuse of a mattress and expended my free annual hard-rubbish collection to get rid! This mattress is beyond salvation and I urge anyone not to inflict it upon themselves.

rock, there is also a big ridge running down the centre of the mattress. I have purchase a.h beard before and was happy with the Quality and comfort, mind you I paid 3x less for that one so imagine my disappointment. Just utterly disappointed to the point that makes it me feel ill knowing that this mattress cost point is $3600 and it was a forty winks sale where you get the partners side free, $1800 is still expensive for utter crap that you would of expected from a $300 matteress in a box.

Guardian, advising not to buy ANY King Koil. Well my wife and I can't agree. We have had this queen sized mattress for 15 years and it is just fabulous. Comfortable from day one till now. Ours is rated as "FIRM" but we felt that maybe it is more Firm/Medium. Anyhow, there may be valid complaints about particular models which we can't comment on since we haven't owned them all, but we certainly can't criticize the whole brand. Ours is, like I said, fabulous after 15 years. I will advise we are not heavyweights if that has any relevance. I am 75kg and wife about 65kg.
