external wash for a sedan for $35.00. I phoned them and the lady confirmed that it was $35.00, so I went there. When I arrived, the attendant told me it would be $45.00, because it was "dirtier than they thought because of some bugs on the front of the car"......I told him that their website did not mention anything about this, nor did the person I spoke to who confirmed the price was $35.00. I decided not to have my car washed there...it wasn't about the extra $10 I had to pay, it was about their total deception regarding their pricing and the attendant's appalling attitude.....I will NEVER again use Star Car Wash.

Booked a rim scratch repair. Booked an appointment, received multiple confirmations including one 1h before the actual appointment on the day…and yet no one showed up. No call, nothing. Absolutely pathetic.

through. Only now upon checking their Facebook page do I realise that they are no longer operating indefinitely. Absolutely no effort was made on their part to contact me to let me know this. Not a single courtesy call or anything. When I originally booked a few weeks ago, the woman on the phone was quite rude and unfriendly and made me feel like I was wasting her time. She was doing her best to push me off the phone so she could hang up. This was 3 days before the company stopped operating so she would have known she was wasting my time but didn't bother to tell me. This is poor customer service on their part. Don't bother with these guys if they open up again.

about them and after they had checked with the detailers, I was told that after they cleaned the mats they hung them out while finishing the car and forgot to return them yo my vehicle. Apparently, someone noticed them and threw them out as they didn’t know who they belonged to. These were genuine Hyundai rubber mats not off market ones. I have since tried twice to call to find out when they will replaced but can only ever leave a message. No one has returned either of my calls. This is not good enough!

As I was in a hurry I did not check everything immediately, but later that evening I noticed that the boot had not been cleaned, nor the foot space after the second row of seats. Next morning I reported it to the manager and asked for a refund - but he refused, saying that the boot cleaning is extra (and that he is not allowed to give refunds anyway). That boot cleaning was excluded was not made clear when I discussed it with the attendant - and the website does not make it clear either - so what was the point of the extra vacuum for $18? Then why the extra $10 but they left out the third row of seats? I can't be bothered to go back for the measly $28, but the company's policy stinks.

Arrive and they refuse to do it unless I buy their $169 package!!
When pressed asking them just to vacuum and wipe down for the $69 package they refused!
This is a marketing trap!

mine were still lying in the Nowra office. Fortunately, we went to the nearby Hanging Rock lookout and discovered they hadn’t been left in the car or offered to me when I collected the car which meant I could retrieve them relatively easily. To be fair, the bodywork was gleaming, but there were still plenty of squashed bugs on the windscreen, which is not ideal for night driving - the main reason for using their services. Surely they could have given me my keys while asking me if I wanted a receipt? Calling their so-called service number entailed such a long wait, that we were almost back at their site before obtaining a response. Not the best $40 I’ve ever spent!

NO! they 'washed' off the cover to the driver's side mirror, said they couldn't find it, then claimed it wasn't their problem. No discount, no price reduction, no service. And for $100 dollar wash/wax was below average. NEVER again.

He too was disgusted.
Kim’s charged a little more than the shonky detailer I used the day before but his work is absolutely outstanding!

checked in one them once, about an hour or so in, and was shown boot area which was done well and progress being made on the cabin. The next time I went to check was a couple hours later and they were packing up. They told us not to go into the motorhome as they had just disinfected the whole thing and it needed an hour or two to dissipate. Took them at their word that they had in fact cleaned everything and asked specifically about a few hidden spots to which they confirmed.
We got a huge shock when we went to have a look at it later to find that they in fact had not touched over 80% of the motorhome and all of the living spaces. We provided photo and video evidence (a couple attached as examples) of all the areas missed listed below: - All floors - Pull-out Pantry - Cupboards x 2 - Overhead cupboards x 3 - Cupboard and drawer next to door - Under seat storage bins x 2 - Flooring - All 6 kitchen drawers - Behind passenger seat - Wall next to passenger seat - Under the cabin cushion - 2 x drawers under the bed - Wardrobe walls and shelves - Storage bins next to bed x 2 - All windows, ledges and panel next to windows - Kitchen walls & powerpoint - Seating area walls - Toilet area walls, floor and shelf
Essentially all of the living areas! I called him straight away to which he pretended to be surprised at missing all of that and, in our back and forth, agreed to a refund for not providing the service we paid for, only to turn around and send back a measly $120 out of the $650 we paid him! He is refusing to come back to finish the job or provide the full refund. Their head office were also shocked at what happened and tried to convince him to provide a refund.
We now have to try and source someone to come out asap which will set us back likely weeks for the sale, not to mention a second fee.
I'm not one to leave bad reviews and prefer to sort things out in private, but this is an absolute disgrace. Stay well clear, they pry on honest people and might scam you out of your money.

using the self wash area the area needs to be evaluated by qualified personal for all operations still correctly working the area seems to have far to many people having entrance to locked areas for staff only and this is effecting the business as a whole
