Ours is the previous model and it has broken down four times in the past 5 years. Once during the two-year warranty period, and the repairs were fully covered by Bosch. Two of the other three times, Bosch agreed to pay for the replacements parts out of goodwill. The last time, Bosch refused to pay for parts or labour for the repairs. There's a photo of the broken heating element that we had to replace below - this was just regular oven use.

The first two repairs were related to the fan, the third was the control board and the fourth repair was one of the heating elements.

fully expecting the same outstanding quality we've experienced with our Bosch/Siemens dishwasher and Siemens fridge (both five-star products). Unfortunately, the microwave has been a real letdown. The maximum power output of 900W — even on the boost setting — feels completely outdated. For context, entry-level microwaves from budget retailers offer comparable or better wattage. For a premium appliance at this price point, it's simply not good enough.

To be clear, we're passionate home cooks and invested in the full stack: two ovens, an air fryer, and a plate warming drawer. Every other appliance performs brilliantly. The microwave, however, feels like an afterthought.

Visually, the stack looks stunning. But aesthetics only go so far. We're now seriously considering having the microwave removed and either replacing it with a quality black glass unit to replace it or relocating our 1200W portable microwave to the butler's pantry.

For those entering retirement and wanting the best — as we are — I'd strongly recommend researching the microwave wattage carefully before committing to this setup.

Would not recommend the microwave at over $2,600. The rest of the Bosch range is excellent.

This Bosch appliance is rubbish and bad quality – The steels is of poor quality, easily marks and they are hard to remove. You will spend half your life cleaning the hobs. I have owned ILVE Smeg Miele and these are amazing. Run as fast as you can from this cooker.

second rack if you need to not really sure why people make such a big fuss about this it’s pretty standard overall a good value oven from a good brand. The only thing that probably would’ve been nice although I understand that this price point that is not featured, is a digital temperature gauge rather than a manual one so that when you turn the knob you can see what temperature you are dialling up, but first world problems.

Missing out on five stars as this oven comes standard with only one wire rack. $45 to purchase another wire rack from Bosch. All other aspects of the oven are positive.

call and were shocked to be told this is due to a manufacturing fault. We had to wait another 2 weeks for the expensive replacement part to arrive. 4 weeks during winter without either oven working because of faulty manufacture is not convenient and very disappointing for a brand like Bosch. Very annoyed that we had to spend $600 to replace a faulty part that had been put in during manufacture and 2 Service calls.

didn’t give 5 stars is due to supplying 2 trays & only 1 rack. It would have been more sensible to have 2 racks & 1 tray. You can buy them but I haven’t priced it but others say they’re expensive. The dials can be a bit hard to read & the function dial is quite stiff (maybe a childproof thing)? I do like how both dials push in for a sleek look. It cooks ok but doesn’t seem to be as hot as my Ilve. It’s been easy to clean tho we don’t use it a lot. I would recommend this oven.

are no clear instructions as how to do it. I have to hire two gas plumbers and the third one was sent by bosch who charged me $169 and did not even fix the problem. After 2months of emails and correspondence i got the above mentioned money back with no results from gas stove. I had to put this task in airtasker to get it sorted out even that guy had hard time looking into youtube/call the technician from bosch and had to finally figure it out by himself needed different types of unscrewing tools and had to flip open the entire cook top to find the screw to lower the flame. As i mentioned before, now the cook top works fine, but all the high flame in the burner has caused tar build up, and no one believes it to be a new cooktop from this look.

Update: was asked to contact customer service and was offered the exact same solution. I questioned why ask me to call when the solution is exactly the same, the gentleman on the phone got annoyed and started being unprofessional, so I asked to speak to the supervisor - which led to a phone hang up after being placed on hold.

I understand the product is out of warranty and Bosch has no obligation to offer a replacement. However, given the poor customer service, the highly marked-up repair costs, and how frequently this product fails, I am questioning my brand loyalty. I will definitely avoid purchasing Bosch products from now on.
