Hi I bough Honda powered compactor from able sale and compactor does not move at all at soft surface and it keep getting crusher dust under the plate and every one minute i have to clean it up. I contact the store and they said i don,t know how to use as i am doing this job from last 3 years without this issue with my old compactor. Anyone have any suggestions to make it work better ? I contact Able sale and they don,t have any solution and not customer satisfaction warrenty like another stores
Increase your engine speed to at least 3/4 throttle. The compactor has an offset counterweight that acts as the "compactor" the faster speed improves the ability to move over soft ground. As a general, fast speed for soft soil, and a lower speed once it has been compacted firmly. Wet and loose soil builds up in front of the plate and makes it almost impossible to move forward at a slow engine speed, the faster speed allows the plate to "skip" over softer and wet soil. This is from my experience in repairs to small engines anyway. Hope this helps.
read a lot of bad reviews about able diesel compressors should i buy one ? can someone recommend a 13hp diesel compressor at a good price please. graeme 0414777063
Hi Graeme Able's compressors are questionable to junk quality, my air filters fell apart and crumbled after 20 hours of use was about to be sucked into the pump they don't design or improve anything of their own.
Were is the fuses located on your 6kva? How do I test to see if the oil sensor is faulty low oil light come on and won't go off but engine is full of oil never was low.
Generator is 12 months old but has only 30 hour on it is stiill out of warranty

My next question is why, its well under the 500 hours you specify, less than Kubota which is two years and is near new only running as a back up generator for my solar for the last eight months, before that it was on storage.
