Hi, Thanks for your enquiry! The great news is, when you book a Spring Clean service, a specialist cleaner or cleaning team will come to your property supplied with their own products and equipment. They work to your instructions in priority order within the timeframe you have booked. This Spring Clean service costs from as little as $235 for the first 3 hours, then $60 per hour for each additional hour required. If you would like a regular cleaning service to follow, just let us know. Our service can be customised to meet your needs and budget and can include anything deemed a domestic chore within the home. The length of time the clean will take and what can be achieved in this time is something you will need to discuss with the cleaner prior to start, especially if you are working to a set budget or set number of hours.

Steam cleaning of carpets and cleaning of external windows is not a service we offer. To learn more or book a service, simply give us a call on 1300 364 646. We are available during normal business hours.

Hi Rebecca,

The price is per cleaner. If a team of two is allocated to do your clean, that team will take half the time to complete the cleaning. For example, 3 hours of cleaning will be completed in 1.5 hours.

Hi Tracey, As an independent contractor you would be in charge of your own Tax and The Agency fee is in place as the company itself works hard to ensure jobs are available with extensive marketing, a supporting Team Manager, Public liability and personal accident insurance. Hi Tracey, it's entirely up to you how you would like to direct the cleaner to use their time. You can stay home and prepare everything for them to focus solely on cleaning or you can leave them to it during the allocated timeframe. Regards, Absolute Domestics

First visit you get one hour extra free.

Absolute Domestics told me that the "bonus hour" means that you get one hours cleaning you don't have to pay for, eg, have a 3 hour clean but only pay for 2 hours. However, according to AD, the cleaner doesn't get paid for that hour, which is actually illegal. So the cleaner cleans for 3 hours but only gets paid for 2 hours.

Hi Nordic66, we are unable to identify who you are. We dispute that it's illegal for the Agency or an independent cleaning contractor to offer the first hour free as a promotional offer to secure a new booking. Regards, Absolute Domestics

Dispute all you want, but the cleaner would be getting paid under the minimum wage, which is an offence. Also, the cleaning contractor, i.e. the cleaner, doesn't offer the first hour free; you do that for them.

Yeah I had a cleaner from AD who quit because of this, she said that she only got paid for two hours and the third hour free on most first cleans, the agency got over $20 for doing nothing each clean, the cleaners are underpaid and that’s why I think many quit. I tried keeping my cleaner but the money was not enough for the hard job she was doing, I’m now waiting to hire her privately after her contract is up and will make sure to pay her what she is worth!! AD pay your cleaners much more, cleaning is physically challenging, this is Australia!!!

It’s when you have your first clean. Absolute Domestics do it as a promotion and pay the cleaner for 2 hours work when they work for 3 hours.

Hi Kuwar, our cleaners prefer to use your products and equipment for a regular or catchup clean. If these need to be provided, we can organise this for a small additional fee. My cleaners used my cleaning products, but used their own vacuum cleaner, which they preferred.

Hi Sharon, the cost of our Spring Clean service is $165 for the first 3hrs then $40/hr for each additional hour. Once booked, your cleaner will be able to discuss how long the clean will take based on your requirements.
