My touch screen is stuck on the android symbol, I have reset and done all the troubleshooting tips shooting. Does this mean I need a new touchscreen?

Stephen Ihave a MYAir panel TSP MY5 B150904 installed in a new townhouse i bought in March 2017, system probably installed in 2016.that shows a picture of a battery nothing else. Panel is also starting to separate at the bottom. Contacted local air con installer who quoted over the phone i could be up for nearly $3000, control box , power supply touch screen and sensors. Seems totally crazy for what is basically a battery replacement. Surely under Australian Consumer Law even if if outside warranty period, a $13,000 plus air con system would be covered even if after 7 or more years would be entitled to a replacement or repair.

Hi, our tablet is showing an E03 error. I have called an electrician who has quoted $1600+ to have this fixed. Are we able to just buy a replacement screen? We really do not wish to spend that amount of money solely to turn our air con on

Hi Ben, an E03 error will be an issue with your AC unit not your MyAir system, so unfortunately not something we can help with. I'm unaware of what an E03 is or which brand of unit however if you're unsure would encourage a second opinion. Hope this helps. Darren

Hi can someone help me, we have my air advantage air tablet, not responding. I tried to call the company who installed the system JB air , they denied to come and have a look. Call the advantage air support team, no one answered. My tablet is under warranty, the whole system is less than 5 years old. Advantage air can you please help

We have a 8mth old Advantage Air system. Got to say I love the features, power usage is low, works efficiently. Only question I have relates to the temp sensors in each room. Why do they seem so inaccurate? In Winter when it is very cold inside - say PM or early AM it will still show 20-23 deg in each room. When in fact it would be 15 deg at best. Any suggestions why all zones show incorrect temps & how to overcome this? I feel it affects how warm it makes the room due to this error. Thanks for your time.

Hi, I have an Advantage Air MyAir 5 system installed with a Mitsubishi Electric ducted AC with 2 zones, each with temperature sensors. It is 5 months old. When I use the system for heating, when I turn off the system, sometimes it switches off straight away, however, the vast majority of times all zones close off so that no air is coming out any of the vents but the fan keeps running for a further minute or so before switching off. The same thing never happens on the cooling setting. Is this normal operation?

I’ve had my system for just over 2 years. It’s been working fine however unable to access the remote access even after contacting advanced air and going through there trouble shooting. I put through a warranty request through my installer but still haven’t heard anything… how long is the wait usually?

Did your installer send in the paperwork? If not, I'd be pushing them. Advantage Air won't start their process until they do - which is frankly ridiculous. Anyway, I suspect by now (2 months since your question) your problem will have been resolved - or at least I hope so.

Just wondering if your product is capable of setting start and finish timers for individual zones. Similarly, can I set a timer for the AC to start at a certain time? If not, is this software far away?

Hi Braeh, thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately we cannot set start and finish times for individual zones but only for the whole unit. You can set up timers for the AC to start (or finish). Tabs called "Scenes" and "Event" will allow you to program the system in order to function at specific times if specific conditions are met. I hope this helps.

Hi My advantage air Tab is showing blank screen. It is 4 years old. I called Victoria number as well as 1300 number. No one picked up the phone. The weather is getting cold, can you please suggest who should I call to get assistance.

When you do eventually get through they'll tell you the tab was warrantied for 1 year and that you now need you buy a new one. Mine went blank after 7 years. I replaced the battery and its good again.

Hi Chris, thank you for your feedback. Our warranty is 5 years from the installation (tablet included). If something goes wrong and the table needs to be replaced the warranty on the new one is 2 years. Apologies for the confusion. We got the MyAir tablet 7 running android 6.0 for our new $18000 12 zone ducted air con system 3 years ago (2020). The tablet runs android 6 and since installation runs slow and has gotten worse and worse. Error e03 which they say is an outdoor air con unit error but it’s not as I’ve had Panasonic give our air con unit the all clear. The tablet is basically a $50 tablet from China which is hard programmed and locked so that you cannot update the android 6.0 operating system. Over the years Google has stopped supporting apps and devices on android 6.0 and therefore we cannot run our MyAir app anymore and have no more air con. The aircon contractor quality air in Morningside Brisbane qld recommended it as a premium product top of the line which honestly is a joke given it’s a $50 tablet from China sold by advantageair for $1500. You cannot ever update it so means this product has a very limited life before all apps and services outdate the operating system. Called tech support numerous times no answer. Called the air con contractor they didn’t help much except submit a warranty claim to advantage air. Now I’m stuck in a heat wave with no air con and a new born. Do not get this product. Look at alternative smart air con products that are upgradeable at tech like this is basically useless in our environment were updates and software changes are critical to keeping products viable and working properly.

We had Daiken ducted aircon installed with a MyAir 5 controller just over 5 years ago by Crown Power South (Gold Coast, QLD). The MyAir controller worked fine - there were a few problems - but the Advantage Air tech staff were reasonably good and they were sorted out. However, Just 2 months after the 5 year guarantee expired the control panel became completely unresponsive, as if dead. This was in early February this year. We have contacted Crown Power South repeatedly about this but they seemed uninterested and in all this time no one has come to inspect and diagnose the problem. A week ago a final try contacted them again and was told (without any inspection or diagnosis) the whole control system would have to be replaced. We asked for a rough estimate of cost and were just fobbed off and said would have to get back to us but have heard nothing from them, other than the implication it could be up to $3000. This sounds a lot (the original controller was about a third of that). We'd appreciate it if Advantage Air could advise us of a Gold Coast technician who would actually be prepared to find our problem (we hear it could be quite minor issues and not require entire control system to be replaced) and fix it even if it does mean a new control system. Anyone in Sydney had any decent replacement for a 2 storey my air 3 system. Our screen failed, now the control box is bouncing on and off the network and can no longer control the system. Had no luck getting an installer to call me back, they dont seem interested in servicing this 6 year old myair3, which is a shame as its been great when it worked.

Thanks Advantage Air - not sure why I only just saw YOUR reply either but yes, some of your great team sorted me out with a control box and screen upgrade just after the christmas before last and the system is still keeping me cool. In fact I have a spare screen and power supply for my old my air 3 (sadly I'd toasted the CB) -

Hi, we have had the same problems with the Advantage air myair on and off for 4 years and now it will just not power up, no matter what we do. we have a Daikin RZQ1400LV1 ducted air con, 4 zones. Can anyone suggest a replacement. And is it a matter of plugging it into the ethernet cable? thanks

When installing ducted air does it have to be done by a certified aircondioning installer or can an elcetrician do it and does it have to be signed off by BCC if its a new build?
