My house is Allam homes , 6-7 years old .

How much is Allam home’s warranty?

Hi Hian, the standard period for structural warranty is 6 years and all other defects have a 2 years period.

There is no sarking installed in our house we have recently purchased that is 12yo. Considering the installation of sarking is Mandatory, could someone please explain why or house does not have it?

where do I find the development approval/ permit number?

Hi Debbie, The development approval / permit number can be found in the council's document under "Planning Certificate" attached in your exchanged contract . My number is issued by Blacktown Council, and in the format of PL2016/xxxxx. Hope this can be of some help.

Where did you buy your property? And how much do you pay for it... It's really strange. Since 1991, Allam homes have built 5000 homes, and only review i see online is yours and it is bad. I am interested in one of their estate but now i am not sure.

We built in The Ponds, Sydney. It's irrelevant what I paid, and I am quite certain that I won't be the last person to submit a review. Regardless of how many homes they have built, my experience has been far from pleasant, and many in the same community have experienced a similar situation.

My advice is to look for a builder that cares, has quality workmanship and takes pride in what they do.

I highly recommend building with anyone but Allam.
