Allied Gaming Questions & Answers
VerifiedAllied Stinger-A: RTX 4060 8GB Gaming PC with this pc how is the sound of the fans as this would be my first PC ever bought and I want to know if the fans are loud or not
Hi Bluebobby, the Allied Stinger has PWM controlled fans which are directly tuned to match the CPU temperature when it's in use. The installed fans are designed to only speed up when you are in a gaming utilization (heavy CPU utilized games) or heavy CPU workload (video rendering, CPU benchmarks, etc), so the fans will mostly be running at normal speeds when your system is not under full load application.
If you do have any other questions, please feel free to ask, thank you.
i got the allied stinger and it came with a wifi usb that says it has bluetooth and makes bluetooth show up but whenever i go to connect devices they never show up how do i fix this
Hi there, this may be something to do with the driver currently installed on your Allied Stinger, so reinstalling the Bluetooth driver for your Wi-Fi USB model would be our recommendation. If you could please provide us with your order number, or reach out to our friendly customer support team via orders@alliedgaming.com.au with this information, then we will be happy to look into this for you, thank you.
Good evening, I recently bought the allied gaming Patriot mini atx case, but for some reason I can't hear both audio and input my voice even though my headset has a built-in microphone. why is that?
Hi Fuj, we recommend plugging a headphones directly into your Allied Patriot via the 3.5mm audio ports or via USB port on the front or rear (dependent on the headphone model). Your headset may also require a 3.5mm audio splitter to achieve an audio and microphone connectivity to your PC, so please keep this in mind.
If you could please provide us with your order number, or reach out to our friendly customer support team via orders@alliedgaming.com.au with this information, then we will be happy to look into this for you if the above doesn't work for you, thank you.
i found this wireless networks disk and i’ve been looking for where to put it for the past hour does anyone know where it goes?
Hi Micah, If your purchase is for an Allied Stinger, you will only be required to plug in the Wi-Fi USB module that was included with your purchase into the front to the PC. All drivers are pre-installed and will work out of the box.
If you could please provide us with your order number, or reach out to our friendly customer support team via orders@alliedgaming.com.au with this information, then we will be happy to look into this for you, thank you.
I’m brand new to gaming PCs and have bought an Allied patriot desktop. What’s the best way to play sound? Headphones or external speakers? If I use speakers what type and how do I connect to the PC?
Hi Crosby, we recommend plugging a headphones directly into your Allied Patriot via the 3.5mm audio ports or via USB port on the front or rear (dependent on the headphone model. The same can be done for audio speakers that plug in via 3.5mm or USB via the rear of the Patriot PC. If your Patriot has a Wi-Fi motherboard installed, you will have Bluetooth integrated as well, so you pair Bluetooth headphones or speakers to the PC instead.
Please let me know if you have any other questions, thank you.
hello allied, I was wondering that is there wireless wifi and bluetooth in allied stinger amd ryzen 7 and gpu RTX 4070
Hi rdangergamerz, our Allied Stingers on our website currently feature Wi-Fi 6 speeds via the included AX900 Wi-Fi 6 USB adapter.
If you have any other questions, please let us know, thank you.
Hi Allied, I was just wondering if my new RTX 4060 can connect via bluetooth? I purchased this from Jb Hifi recently. Thanks Reece Mclean
Hi Reece, if this Stinger purchased from JB-HiFi was purchased under Tricia, then I can confirm your system did not come integrated with Bluetooth at this stage. If you want to add Bluetooth to your PC, then we recommend purchasing a USB Bluetooth adapter and plugging it in to achieve this.
We appreciate your understanding, thank you.
With the ALLIED Stinger-I can I use a xbox stealth 700 g2 turtle beach Bluetooth headphones without having to buy a Bluetooth receiver
Hi Ayrton, thanks for your question. The Stinger normally does not come with Bluetooth integrated, so in most scenarios, you would need to add a Bluetooth dongle to your purchase as we do not advertise our listings to suggest they come with Bluetooth out of the box.
However, if this is a recent order, I can confirm that Bluetooth has become available Stingers with the default configuration. If you could please provide us with your order number, or reach out to our friendly customer support team via orders@alliedgaming.com.au with this information, then we will be happy to look into this for you and confirm if your Allied Stinger will need a Bluetooth dongle or not, thank you!

Hi Craige, as this is a public Q&A page, I recommend contacting our customer support team via support@alliedgaming.com.au with your order number or order details (e.g. email used), so they can look into this for you. Hey. I am looking to update to a new gaming PC. Doesn't have to be state of the art. Looking for something to handle the latest games like starfield. Can you make some recommendations
Hey Alpha, thanks for your question! Personally, I would recommend our RTX 4060 system which is well-suited for most gaming titles at 1080p, Starfield included. We have a Ready to Ship Stinger with a Ryzen 5 5500, RTX 4060 8GB Gaming PC specification that would be very sutiable.
If you're looking for a higher resolution like 1440p, an RTX 4060 Ti or RTX 4070 system would be suitable instead.
Please let me know if you have any other questions, thank you. :)
What is the network hz on the ALLIED STINGER-A
Hi xporotlesi, thanks for your question. The GHz connection is based upon the router that you are connecting to and the adapter that is in use on the PC to connect to it. Since you purchased the Stinger-A, you have most likely received a 600Mbps Nano Dual-Band USB Wi-Fi adapter with your purchase that you will need to use.
If you are not sure, as this is a public Q&A page, can you please your details to our customer support team via support@alliedgaming.com.au with your order number or details of the order (eg. email used) so we can look into this for you further ASAP, thank you.
Can I connect to my wifi if my router is down stairs with the ALLIED STINGER-A
Hi, I have my router in my lounge room and my Allied Stinger in a room about 10m away with 2 cement walls in between and was able to get the wifi working. I actually use a different wifi adapter to the one Allied supplied which has an antennae and gives me a great internet speed, plus I also altered my router settings to create a better speed too. The wifi adapter Allied supplied does work though, I just wasn’t completely happy with the internet speed I was receiving
What adapter were you using in order to get better speed?
I got one from Amazon a while back for $20. Looks like they’re still available
Hi xporotlesi, thanks for your question. I can confirm that Wi-Fi USB you have received with your Allied Stinger-A is plug-and-play, and doesn't require any drivers to work. Please make sure this is plugged into one of the front top USBs on the Allied Stinger and check to see if you can connect to your network from there when you are at the networking set-up page.
If this does not work, as this is a public Q&A page, can you please your details to our customer support team via support@alliedgaming.com.au with your order number or details of the order (eg. email used) so we can look into this for you further ASAP, thank you.
I have a Bluetooth Xbox headset and was wondering if I could use the Xbox wireless adapter to connect it, and if possible would I be able to hear audio and use my mic to talk or will I just hear audio but be unable to talk? I have a headset I could connect but could only hear audio and the mic did not function, is this the case for all Xbox headsets even with the adapter? My pc is the allied stinger A
Hi Frost, as this is a public Q&A page, I recommend contacting our customer support team via support@alliedgaming.com.au with your order number or order details (e.g. email used), so they can look into this for you. I can clarify that your current headset most likely requires a 3.5mm audio/microphone splitter to allow for both audio channels. Your system may also not support Bluetooth out of the box, therefore, it is best to check with our support team and they can look into this for you, thank you!

Hey does the Stinger have Bluetooth built into it can’t get anything to connect
Allied Gaming provide a wifi USB with that package. It is high quality.
That is for wifi, I’m trying to connect a Bluetooth device
Hi David, thanks for your question. I can confirm that Wi-Fi USB you have received with your order is for Wi-Fi connectivity only. If you would like Bluetooth connectivity on this PC, my recommendation would be to purchase your own Bluetooth USB adapter and plug it into the PC.
As this is a public Q&A page, if you have any further questions, I recommend contacting our customer support team via support@alliedgaming.com.au with your order number or details of the order (eg. email used), thank you.
Hi guys, just received pc for my daughter and unable to connect to wifi, won’t go past Ethernet screen, wifi not an option, plugged in wifi adapter as per instructions and nothing. Please send any help …. Very distraught daughter
Make sure you have the adapter plugged into the usb port at the back of the box, just above the mic and headset sockets, second one from the end. Hope this helps. Oh, and restart the cpu once it’s plugged in
I have similar situation, although bought a Wifi adapter. was an easy plug and go. they are usually very simple setup. just change the usb to another usb. it should show wifi logo on the bottom right corner or in the hidden icons area next to date and time. Hopefully it'll work
Thank you, I’ll give these suggestions a go
Tried all usb ports and rebooted, no date and time or hidden icons… :/
Hi Michelle, thanks for your question. I can confirm that Wi-Fi USB you have received is plug-and-play, and doesn't require any drivers to work. Please make sure to use a little bit of force when plugging this into one of the front USB ports on the Allied PC and check to see if you can connect to your network from there when you are at the networking set-up page.
