I recently purchased a BBQ from Barbeques Galore in September. The person I dealt with on the phone when I purchased & paid for the BBQ did not inform me that the safety valve had been upgraded. I purchased a "normal gas bottle" from a petrol station it was not compatible with the fixture on the BBQ. The recipient of the BBQ as a gift has had several attempts to purchase an appropriate converter including another Barbrques Galore & Bunnings. Finally the recipient has resolved the issue. I spoke to Tony on Saturday at the Richmond store he was dismissive abrasive & rude. On Sunday we purchased another BBQ NOT from Barbeques Galore & will never again.

I'm not on Facebook & I am not interested in further discussion about your lack of service & inability to apologise. BBQ Galore have been given a phone & online complaint. It was not a review it was a comment on your appalling customer service. there are many places to buy BBQ's!

I have attempted - on two seperate occasions - to obtain proof of purchase in the form of a receipt for an online purchase. Your call centre staff are refusing to provide me with this - as they say it is against your company policy. They will only provide me with a tax invoice, which doesn't outline that the purchase was made. It is a legal requirement under Australian consumer law for proof of purchase (receipt) to be provided. I will take this to ACCC if your call centre staff continue to refuse to provide this.

Does anyone have any experience with the connoisseur 4 burner bbq from Bbq Galore? Any advice? I cant find much information online on it.

Connoisseur dies not produce enough heat to sesr steak properly. BBQ Galore not interested in fixing the problem. Currently with NSW Consumer Affairs.
