Did anyone make a compliant to consumer affairs or alike and have any success getting your money back?

I did ring them and I got told to write CaneJava a final letter of demand and if they don’t deliver after that then the next step was to take them to V cat

Hi Justine , l did rang Consumer Affairs and was told not much they could do . I have reported every ad they have posted on Gumtree (over 70 in number ) as a scam and finally had action taken and a response from Gumtree. ALL ads now taken down I have also lodged a complaint with ACCC Maybe that kicked Gumtree into doing something Scumbag did message me the next day and promised delivery soon Not holding my breath. We tried to get Westpac to reverse payment. Believe they are still working on it. Again not holding my breathe
