I have a steep block in Ferntree Gully (Melbourne's East), it has a gradient of 1:2.4. Has anyone had Cavalier build on something similar and was there issues and excessive costs using them?

Do Cavalier homes only do house and land packages or do they sell land only blocks on their development sites?
Both of the Cavalier homes that I have built were on my land. Cavalier pointed me in the right direction for where land sales were. I suggest you ring your local Cavalier office and ask them.
Hello Some of our Franchisees do have land available for you to buy and others simply have contacts with key land agents to assist with your land purchase. If you give our builder nearest to you they will be able to assist with your enquiry.

If we go for the aspire inclusions package are we able to provide our own electrical products? If so does that change the final cost? Also can you choose things from the lifestyle package for a price or as we want to remove some inclusions for the aspire package can we just have some certain inclusions upgraded to the lifestyle?
You would certainly be able to supply your own electrical products but it would be well worth discussing this with a sales consultant as our buying power might mean we can get the products at a better rate. The colour selection process allows you to choose the upgrades you want to add from our Lifestyle range, this can affect the cost as these products cost more for us to buy.
My partner and I are just doing our research as we are thinking of buy a block and building. We are just looking into whether we go with Cavalier homes whether we can make changes to the house plan and design features like lighting choices and where certain things go?
Hi Paige You are certainly able to make changes to a design to suit your needs. Part of our process is working with you to tailor the design to work for you and to run through a 'Colour Selection' where you get to choose lights, flooring etc.

HI, Well not to sure where to start,maybe the beginning. Took 1year to get started very frustrating but once it got started moved very quickly, but now we are still waiting for things to be finished. Items that should have already been finished and now we are arguing over who said she said, because the building supervisor did not write things down if things were changed. The actual cost of the changes is not much, but there is the principal about customer service and somebody not doing there job properly
I think you will have trouble with any builder, its just pot luck
