Hi Merine A, the program absolutely works but I understand that there is a minimum amount you need to lose to be able to register. GO on their website and there should be a tool there to work out how much you need to lose according to Cohen's. They go by height, weight, shoe size and I think age may even factor in to it. How come you’re allowed yoghurt but you can’t have skimmed milk?
I did Cohen's 15 years ago. I did lose a lot of weight but never got to my target. Over the years I have managed to remain within 5 kgs but over the last year I tried keto hoping to lose 5kgs then more to get to my target but that has not worked for me at all so tomorrow I'm going back to my 15 year old Cohen's plan.
I have a question...since being low carb/keto eating low fat feels wrong.
I'm going to eat Greek yoghurt for breakfast but not low fat...should I eat less? I'm really curious to see if it will make a difference
Personally I use full fat Greek yogurt (about a cup) as a desert on the odd occasion. I would use Vaalia natural for your daily yogurt. It tastes great and isn’t high in fat.

For memory it was $350, we don’t have clinics in SA so they offer an online version, personally it’s as good as the real thing at half the price. It will change your life

Hi I've just recently started on Cohen's and it cos 25 for blood test and 350 for the meal plan
I did the program years ago and had great success, but put all the weight back on with pregnancy/post pregnancy. I’m planing on using my old plan to help lose some weight and I’ve noticed in my allowed food list it says tofu, but in my prescription there is no line in any of the 3 meals that includes tofu. I never used to eat it so I didn’t even realise back then when I was getting the phone support. I’m wondering what measurements of tofu people have? Just to give me an idea - seeing as my plan is out of date anyway.
I am trying to return to Cohens but is it only online with no face to face weigh-ins? Cheers for your time!
Yes that’s correct, to be honest you don’t really need it. Just email them weekly. Programme works so well
I have just started the Cohen's diet and on day 5. Today has been the worst for hunger and I literally feel starving and all I can think about is food. How long does it take to get used to the 5 hours between meals and such small portions ? I'm very worried I'm going to give up very soon because I'm so hungry and just binge . Please help
Generally by day 5 your body should be starting to get used to it Kristin. Make sure you are drinking the recommended amount of water and having your cracker & fruit allowance. Hang in there - it gets easier and your body adjusts. If you are really struggling, get in contact with your clinic and have a chat to them. They are very good with tips and support. Get through the first week and it will get easier. I kept my fruit allowance (& sometimes my cracker allowance) to have between meals. This helped. All the best. You can do it. :)
