We suppose to receive a parcel on 6 Apr 2023. However, no one informed us any delay or delivered on what day. The parcel is for a Charity Event in Sydney which supposed to be for the Easter Holidays but no where to be seen the delivery of our package. When it comes to courier and especially Express delivery then the customer expects the delivery on the day it was supposed to be delivered NOT whenever they think its deliverable. Incredibly frustrating, time consuming process for a simple delivery of that they promised. Consignment No 3489490001800. No phone contact available and we waited 2 hours until we realise that no one is there on the other side. Very very poor service. This is not a normal post service - Express Delivery. I dont know how these companies operate and i can see lots of customers are in the same frustrating for not delivering on time.
Hi Suresh, we are so sorry to hear! However, we do not do express delivery and I would suggest in the future to call our lovely customer service team to get an estimate on when this would have been received by the sender to ensure an accurate date of delivery. Thanks
You are called Direct Freight Express and offer overnight deliveries. What do you mean you don't do express deliveries. That is false advertising then. I think an ombudsman should be involved.
Why is there no email address for people to write to on your Contacts page? Not everyone wants to make a phonecall - as there will be no trail of conversation. Very unusual.....
it is a simple way to not have to talk to a customer especially one who happens to be getting poor treatment from DFE, having a web access then shows how poor the response is from DFE, this would make them accountable, you can not have that

who do I contact to find out what happened to my delivery which was supposedly made to my residence on Wednesday 12th May at 11.26 am. I say supposedly, as no-one rang or sent any information that there was a parcel coming, because I was at home then. My consignment note number is so poorly written that I cannot tell the # 4 or the # 7 that has been scrawled on the card. Please have the courtesy to phone me and let me know what's going on as your web page is USELESS. try 43434950560496 and wherever there is a 4 try replacing with a 7 if that doesn't work. Extremely Annoyed .

They did the same thing to me, only to find out they decided to return the package back interstate to the sender without calling me! Then the customer service, upon inability to explain why the card said one thing and they did another, told me I wasn’t their customer and that I needed to speak to the sender! Luckily the sender resent the package via another courier which went flawless. Direct Freight Express is a company with seemingly little pride in their service and very poor customer service. You want to support an Aussie company but not at this level of compromise. You’d better ring them immediately before they decide to ship your package somewhere. Note also the poor rating.
Direct Freight are absolutely useless - They told me that I would receive an item and I stayed in (given Covid) but they failed to appear. They take pride in being so absolutely useless - they say they have fantastic customer service - they do not. They hide behind saying it was the customers fault. They cant tell you who they are using to deliver - because they use a lot of local freight forwarding companies. I now ask companies if they use this lot - and if they do I shop elsewhere. They dont answer the phones, they dont reply, they dont help - the only blessing is that they dont refer to themselves being an Australia COmpany. That would be a steo too far. Do Not Use this company - ever.
They're rubbish!! avoid at all costs. Customer service is a joke! Rude and dismissive. I was home all day when they attempted delivery. When I enquired, they told me I had to contact the sender to approve the redelivery. i asked why and was told that they charge the sender a redelivery fee for futile deliveries. Guessing they do this a lot to make their money. Will mention again, customer service is a joke! useless! How is this company still in business???? DO NOT USE!!
Hi, unfortunately we cannot contact our receivers if we have not been provided with any contact details this is why it's best to call our lovely customer service team on 1300 347 397 or contact the sender to ensure they do not issue a RTS and provide Direct Freight with further contact details. I am trying to track down a parcel The Direct Freight Express delivery man left a card in my mailbox on Friday 20th July and i cannot seem to find it The consignment note number is 2270293216908 Please help
The only recommendation I have would be to contact the shipper directly and have them provide some sort of backup documentation as well as give you a complete description of the remediation process or the process by which they deal with undeliverables. Sometimes the packages are stolen, sometimes miss-delivered. Sorry to say, but this should have been dealt with the following business day. Waiting 5 days was not a good idea.
