We just had our fan replaced under warranty. The Airoheat was encrusted with ice. We now find our water is not very hot and runs to Luke warm very quickly. Is there something that needs adjusting? It’s working but not efficiently.

Hello, I have a similar issue with my Dux Airo heater to one listed on your site 3 years ago. The heater has started leaking water from the top vents, running down the side of the unit. The unit details are, Dux Airo heater, model number D2FH00000C, serial number 110131100940, manufactured on 31/01/2011., installed in 2011. System has just started to periodically stop flowing for short times. Is this a tank flush issue ?
Hi Terry, Thanks for raising your question. Given the age of the unit (11+ years) we would suggest that the unit be given a flush. Please contact our After Sales & Service on 1300 365 115 Option 2 to be put in touch with our local service agent.

Where is the turn on and off, can't find it, Please text to 0435917787 thx very much No hot water flowing when the taps are on hot water and running only cold or just luke water is coming instead I can hear the water system running which means electricity is used Any suggestions, thx very much Ulrike
There is no on/off switch on a hotwater system. You'd need to flip the circuit breaker at the meterbox if you want to reset the power to it, but I don't know what you think that's going to achieve? You really shouldn't be playing with it if you've got no idea about it. It sounds like what you need is a professional plumber to inspect and fix your broken hotwater system before you go fiddling with it and electrocuting yourself.
Hi. I got a new Dux airoheat 250l that is only 6 mouth old , till just over a week ago was iceing up so it was not heating up probably, the service men said to turn off the Recirculating pump , let it de ice then turn it back on. The next day turned back on and started iceing up again with in a few hours, call the again they now told me to remove the Circulating pump , why? the pump is turn off the power so there is no water Circulateing unit is still iceing up , they will not come out because the say it is the Recirculating pump issue I do not believe, Reefe the makers of the Recirculating pump has told me removing the pump makes no difference

We’ve had an Airheat hot water system for ten years and have very little trouble, recently the system seems to be making a lot more noise… sounds like boiling water or a noisy fan. .. no change in hot water. Can it run out of water? Do I need to top it up? Or just leave it alone…I have no idea. Thanks
These are just my layman's thoughts.. I'm not a qualified technician or anything..... When the water inside is being heated, it may make a sound like a kettle I'd imagine... But it shouldn't "boil", no need for it to get that hot... There's a fan on top of the system as part of the heat pump... maybe check that no debris is in there that might be getting caught? like leaves or twigs or something.... There's a relief valve on the side of the tank.. if you pull on the lever, water will fill the tank and then overflow out the drain once full, but be careful because that overflow water will be hot... refer to the manual for all the details etc. Cheers
Thanks… as a rule do they need topping up, I know way back when hot water tanks used to be topped up. This one has never been topped up. It does sound like a very loud kettle.. good description. Should I ‘ if it ain’t broke, leave it alone’ ?. But didn’t want it to run dry…Thanks for prompt response.
Did you give the relief valve a go? Ensure the tank is full?

Unfortunately there are no replaceable components in the H3202 Hotlogic. The controller must be replaced.

The water heated by this thing is just far too cold for winter. How do you turn up the temperature?
Hi Ben, I have exactly the same issue. My system is 10 years old and it has been a good system, but over the last couple of winters the water hasn't been hot enough. I have attempted to adjust the thermostat but the plastic spindle for the thermostat has been sun/heat faded and is too brittle to turn. I was hoping that DUX could advise whether this system has any anodes that may need replacing.
Hi Ben, Thanks for your question. The thermostat is only able to be adjusted by a suitable qualified tradesperson. Our Service Agents are also able to do this, please call 1300 365 115 Option 2 to be put in touch with your local Dux Service Agent or could you please email your full name, product review username, best contact number, address where the unit is installed and the model and serial number of the unit to help@dux.com.au so we can check and provide you the details.

I have noticed the fan has not been working for some time but water seems to be the same. Has never been too hot and only other problem I have had with it was when it kept icing up and turned out to be a stuck relief valve.

Hi John, mine did that recently and it was because the condensation overflow pipe got blocked. The little reservoir/guide in the top then fills up and overflows. Clear out your pipe!
Model D2FH00000C - Serial #100714106780 - Manufactured on 14/07/2010 The tank is producing only warm water, fan does not appear to be working & icing up. The hotlodgic box has both the green & red lights on.
