Can I please ask where did you buy your phone from? Their eBay store or exp online web site?
I have had a similar issue. I bought my phone through the exp online web site however the phone does not work anymore. I then sent them an email but the email bounced back. And now that web site is down. I tried to contacted their ebay stores a couple of time but no response.
Shall I take it to fair trading department? As their web site is currently down, will take to fair trading department be any use at all?

I think I found that one via eBay though possibly.
I have decided I can't be bothered to pursue this, but if you are going to, I am happy to be backing up with my story.

I will contact eBay as a start. If you bought yours via paypal, you can probably get a refund via them? Just a thought.
Hi Lily, I bought mine direct from EXPonliine. Yes take it to Fair Trading. I wish I had paid using PayPal, I may have been able to get a refund. Here is an alternative email address that I have sent emails to and received emails from:

If this "company" has no ABN doesn't that mean there not an Australian company and you have no right to approach The Office of Fair Trading or any other Australian government body for help?
This crowd operate in the cloud. They operate from a Post Office Box in Sydney. They have a land line number in Sydney which no one answers. All their phones come from Hong Kong. You will not get service from any of the manufacturers here if something goes wrong.

Has anyone reported Exponline to the ACCC scam watch? I'm intending to do so.
I've had a similar experience with some of the users that Exponline selling mobiles that breaks down in 3 months and actually providing warranty services as promised.
I'm in contact with Consumer and Business Services SA who have asked me to try one more time to settle this dispute - if he doesn't respond within a few days I can call them back and they will help escalate the issue. I suggest you do the same within your state/territory.
Hi I have not contacted consumer affairs. This organisation hides on the internet probably Hong Kong. They have no ABN in Australia and work out of a Post Ofiice Box Sydney Australia. When you call there Sydney Telephone number it times out. They do not reply to emails. There is no Australian warranty for the phones they sell because they come from Hong Kong.

I've been emailing back and forth with ExpOnline for the last 3 months and I can guarantee there will not be any resolution this way. However I found out through my credit card company that this guy has a Paypal account as the transaction went through Paypal. However Paypal refuse to do anything with it because I contacted them outside of their 180day buyer protection period. But I'm hoping the ACCC or the right authority can track him down through the Paypal account, and to have an '.com.au' website the site owner has to have an registered ABN in Australia even if they hide it on their site.
Contacting ACCC in VIC has been difficult, I've tried to call them for over three days and every time I call the line is too busy to even place me in a queue. So if anyone has any success getting some result through ACCC please let me know.

I'm wanting to buy a samsung mobile phone from this company. Are the phones compatible for use in Australia? I've heard because they are overseas phones they often have connection issues.

Never buy from them! They will send you a a second hand phone instead of new one.
I wouldn't purchase from them. I bought an s5 of them. The sound quality for calls were absolutely appalling, took the plastic of the back of the phone and it took the Samsung logo with it, The "tampering seal" was broken so it showed me the phone was a refurbished one. I sent the phone back at my cost and it took me a month to get my refund. I kept getting told my replacement phone will arrive in 1-2 days after a month I had enough of listening to them and eventually they stopped replying to my emails so then I took it to pay pal and finally pay pal sorted it out and I got my money back. I STRONGLY ADVISE NOT TO DEAL WITH THEM!
Dont buy from this company..I repeat, dont buy from this company...pack of fraudsters..Will not answer phone or emails. I too strongly advise not to buy from them
Does Galaxy note 3 communicate with Samsung Kies for update and backup? The reason being, i bought a s4 some other seller and did not communicate with Kies.

I sent email but no reply. Has anybody received warranty service from Exponline? It looks like they don't care after sales according to other questions and reviews.
They don't care at all. I'm escalating the issue further with a government department, I'm going to make sure he doesn't do this anymore.

I have the same problem as several buyers here. Shortly after buying the phone fails to charge. It took me 1 month to get a solution to send the phone back. Now the phone is already 2 months with them and I still have no indiation how we resolve this. This is anacceptable. On 10 emails I got twice a very unspecific reply as in 'we will check'. What are you going to do to resolve this?
Hi, I am not sure what advice I can give you at this point in time but I will be sending my phone for repair on Monday and will expect a very prompt response. If there are delays as you have stated, I will let every prospective customer know. Sometimes they need to be reminded that good business is not just at the point of sale.
Take it up with paypal or consumer affairs. I did and I got my money back after paypal intervened.
Just put a negative but fair/fact-based review on the review page and ask them for a response.
I returned my phone 2 months ago. I have had no satisfying responses to my emails. It's now in the hands of paypal.

Please lodge the Chargeback with your Bank. Or with PayPal if you paid via Paypal. They never replied to my emails or calls until i lodged the complaint via PayPal. I have also reported this to ACCC as a fraud case. I bought the new phone and they sent me the old one with the wrong battery.

I purchased 2 x Samsung Galaxy S2 phones from EXPOnline on October 21 2014 and received them within a few days. I found on the next day that the mini USB port (charger port) on one of the phones was faulty and so I couldn't charge the phone. I contacted EXPOnline regarding the phone with the faulty mini USB port and was told to send the phone back to them so they could look into repairing/replacing it, which I did on October 23, 2014. As time went on I sent follow up emails to check on when I would receive the phone back and was told in one reply, sent on November 18 2014, that they had organised a replacement phone and they 'would post it to me shortly'. I sent follow up emails at the end of November and start of December, but no got no replies. It is now January 14 2015, 83 days since I sent the phone back and still nothing. This is outrageous! Can you please provide an update as to when I can expect my phone, or alternatively provide me with a refund?

Lodge a complaint with pay pal and consumer affairs and report them. Thats how I got my money back.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 phone that I purchased has some problems as I am not able to TURN it ON. I even tried changing BATTERY and still I have the problem.
This phone was bought one year before with EXPOnline and it is still under the 2 Year warranty.
I sent them an email explaining the problem one week back and still have not heard from them. I wrote an email to the only email address they have (sales@exponline.com.au) and have not heard from them.
How should I go about with my problem ? Luckily I found out that I paid with PAYPAL and have the transaction details. Raising a dispute with Paypal, is this the right way to go about ?

Hi Prem, After several months ExpOnline sent a replacement phone so I am still annoyed but glad that it is finally resolved.. I sent them a lot of emails and tried the number on their web site but received no reply.
Their registered business address is [contact details removed].( They seem to only check it once a week or so. You could also try contacting them via this page external link .
My understanding is that the company has an ACN but no ABN so it effectively only exists to get you to pay their Hong Kong parent company which then takes a long time to respond if they respond at all.
Note pay pal currently only usually gets involved at up to 45 days after the transaction though soon this is changing to 180 days.
My suggestion is to keep sending them emails and check with your relevant state government agency as to what you can do.

ExpOnline, Please respond to your emails regarding to warranty issues. As a company which asserts a strong warranty policy, you have not responded to anything regarding this and I am prepared to take some form of legal action.
Hi Juliet, I am not sure if ExpOnline receives emails from this site. When I brought my daughters phone I had no issues, I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing difficulties. With my order I had to sign for it. If you are not receiving a response, there are two things that you can do, depending how you paid for your order. If you paid by PayPal, you can make a complaint through them. If you paid by credit card, go to your bank. Explain that you did not receive your order and fill out a complaint form you will need your email reciept. I have received money back from both payments when I have not received my orders in the past. I hope this helps you.

I ordered a brand new samsung Galaxy S4 i9505 on the 24th August. but have still not received it. It has been 8 days now. I have sent an email on the 29th and then again earlier today. I have not even received any responses to my email!!
The order status on the website says 'shipped', but there is no tracking number provided. Please provide update on this order. Order number is 100163 and please respond asap.
Oh, and you obviously don't answer your phones either! I have tried ringing multiple times over two days.

I sent an email about claiming on warranty as my phone is currently not working and I need to have it looked at. I've sent two emails this week and now their website is not loading. How can I get in touch with them as I really need to get my phone fixed?
I just emailed them and they got back to me. I did take a couple of days but that was about delivery. Regarding the sale they were very good at communicating.
I ordered Samsung Galaxy S3 on Monday but got an email saying payment not accepted or something. I asked a question about this before so i called Exponline (I wish they answer on weekends) and they reordered it and it would come around next Wednesday but i'm going to need it before Wednesday for my son for high school. I am having issues with my new Samsung Note 2, I am seeing a message 'Not registered on Network', this is a contract sim that has worked fine in previouos phones. I am notified on and off of 'Emergency calls only' also, Can someone please confirm is this a phone or a network issue.
I have visited a T-mobile shop they have changed the sim checked the settings and it woeked fine, the following day in the evening it went again, again I was back on the phone with them, they have now told me to contact the Seller with this issue, Expo Online is the seller.......my phone is just a week old. What shall i do to proceed?
