I also want to know if anyone has built with Fairmont NSW. Every other builder has reviews whether they are good or bad except for Fairmont NSW who don't have any reviews!! Something seems suss to me.

Yes, I agree. We did not end up going with them as they quoted us a price then asked for $500 for an itemised tender. We paid them and after waiting 3 months, we received an email with 2 pages of absolutely non professional tendre and the price is higher $400,000 than the original quote they told us.

After that we have tried for over a month to communicate with them and requested what are the inclusions and why the price went up 400k. Long story short, between sales office and head office, we did not receive an answeres and they were very rude to us. In the end we gave up and didn't want to deal with such a builder!

If they can not provide a proper tendre and good communication, they can't deliver a home in a profficinal way.

To all future home builders - FACT it was the worst experience of my life. Would I use them again? No Would I recommend them to anyone? No

I have experience with Adelaide only, major reviews are also shared by South Australian customers with very low response from people as such. It will be great to know how they are doing in other states. As per Adelaide is concern and till selection stage, i can surely say that Fairmonthomes has no concept of customer service. Their staff is enjoying strong brand performance, so they are not putting any service aspect into their product. They have not online platform to connect to customer and have no direct contact in office too to speak about the customer concern. Their selection center in Adelaide are also not very engaging to develop a product over the edge. They are trying to stick to standard product in order to keep price in start mark. If you are looking for a house with difference than Fairmonthomes is not the right choice. Still if you want to choice them like us due to good quality end product than you have to be very engaged and research allot. It is also understood since they are project builder at last. As per construction is concerned it all depends on your site supervisor and his skills and time he has. This is same for most of the builders.

If customer service and personnel touch is concerned in project builder than i will recommend HickinBotham, although i am not sure about the end product. They are quite friendly and connected to customer in office and website too. Metricon too seems engaged in web but they don't do custom build. I had discussed my custom plan with Metricon sales man but he never came back with pricing or feedback that they can do it or not.
