Suddenly PayPal (and PayIn4) payment option is missing from Fishpond Australia’s checkout. I hope this is just a glitch.. Sent an email, reading others post, likely I won’t get a reply?
The fishpond Australia website has disappeared off the face of the earth, the website won’t load, I tried emailing them and can’t email them. What has happened.
I have just become a seller on Fishpond, but when I google for some of my titles (many of which are specialised reference or text books, though not latest editions), I rarely see Fishpond come up in the search. I am wondering if Fishpond promotes Sell Yours sellers if there is no equivalent Fishpond item in stock through Google, or does Fishpond only promote its own listings

No Sofia. I've bought from them a few times with no problems. They are expensive and they aren't in contact with their sellers so when a DVD is out of stock they don't know it's out of stock.

I noticed you have The Six Million Dollar Man television series for sale on Fishpond. I think you're asking $449 for it. I can buy this series for $109.95 from another Australian company which I'll be doing.

For Fishpond, click on triple horizontal line menu icon in top left, then click on My Account, then scroll down & click on My Orders, then scroll down to the order in question & click blue View button, then scroll down to Payment Method (you have option to then click on Print Invoice link).

Only if you have no other choice another book I purchased from Fishpond I seen on Amazon a lot cheaper and I would already have it still waiting for Fishpond to deliver Just do your research compairing delivery cost and time 2nd hand or new etc Good Luck

Why do fishpond Australia sell DVD’s that are supposedly only to be sold in America? I had purchased a DVD recently and it did not play on any of our devices. We then found out by reading the small print on the back of the DVD that this particular movie was only to be sold in America not Australia! Pick your came up fishpond Australia, don’t know who you work for world wide! But “Hello!” Not happy! Catherine
Hi Catherine, I buy dvds from Fishpond regularly and they usually tell you which area of the world the dvds are made for. For example Australia is Region 4 and UK is Region 2. It tells you when you click on the DVD ad which region it is for usually before you order it. I have bought Region 2 DVDs before because I have a DVD player that can play multi regions so I know I can buy Region 2 dvds and they will play on my dvd player without a problem. I recently ordered 2 that were Region 2 dvds and I actually had an email from Fishpond asking me if I realised I had ordered Region 2 ones as they may not play on an Australia DVD player but I was able to reassure them that I knew and had a multi region player to play them on. I have not placed orders for several months however last night I accessed my account intending to order a book for delivery to my address within Australia however when processing the order a shipping cost was added to the price quoted. Order: #790167247 i just order the tilburry eye pallete a few days ago on 13 march 2021 and already payed $99.69 but because the delivery take so long i have to cancelled it.. i havent got any refund yet and i saw in my account they want to charge me another cancellation fee around $16 ... please send me the full refund first .i tried to send email but still no reply. I have been using Fishpond now for over 2 years. In that time I have sent one dvd back because it was in a foreign language, but it was credited to my bank account within a few days. Some dvd's went AWOL for awhile but was advised it could be the Post Office and give it an extra week, I did and they did arrive. P.O. are dragging their feet and will not improve. I haven't had the need to phone them, but have emailed over time, and never have I had no replies. No I don't work there, I am retired, no I don't have shares in them, where would I get the money? I am on a pension. I ALWAYS use Fishpond.com.au and NEVER ANY other Fishpond outside of Australia. I don't use them regularly as I save like mad for sometime up to 6 - 12 months to buy in bulk. My recent order was for over $200 and one bulk buy previous to that was about $500-600, ALL of them arrived in good condition.

When trying to send query about order do not push SEND, push arrow instead and they will respond within 24hous
Thanks Barb, my problem is that I don't have a recognizable Fishpond Order Number. The PayPal referenced number is similar to Fishbook Order Numbers but the number is not listed in My Account. Also which arrow are you referring too? Thanks, David

Have been to that site five times now and can't get a response. Dear Fishpond, on 24 January I ordered “The Northern Tribes of Central Australia” by Spencer Baldwin. Cost was $72.43, shipping $7.95 for a total of $80.38. I paid via PayPal and $80.83 has been debited from my Bank Account. The PayPal Fishpond Reference is Fishpond Retail Limited (sevice@fishpond.com.au) ID 757583711 which is similar to Fishpond order numbers for my previous recent purchases. I have not received any communication from Fishpond since placing the order and the order does not appear in My Account listing. I have tried to contact you by email on four occasions but cannot get past the automatic response barrier. I still want the book so I would appreciate it if you could resolve the problem with the order and forward same.

Enough, the book was posted from Sydney the same day I sent my first inquiry. The book order number does not appear in my account listing. Whatever went wrong I have the book so we can end this here.
