Hi Michael. We tried. Unfortunately their criteria is extremely strict to gave any chance of success. You really have to prove without a shadow if doubt that in multiple areas the builder deliberately went againt your wishes or contract. Unfortunately the thing most people find out too late is that the way builders structure their contracts is such that they can slip in lots of little things in there that are easily misread by laymen and when push comes to shove the contract is written to cover their a**. The downside for most people like us that only do it once. Now I've learnt from some of the mistakes i would do better next time but i dont think I'll put myself through that again.

Frank, that's unfortunate mate. Looks like you have been royally shafted by another ruthless builder. Are there any good ones out there? We have recently started looking around for a builder with a high level of integrity and your review and insights are eye opening and appreciated.
