I am going on my personal experience. As it stands they took my money on the 1April and today is the 3june and I still have no product! GEARBEST will not even look into it until the 11june2019! When they stated it could take up to 30working days.... It has now been over 45working days. Disappointing
Looking at all the recent reviews, that rating should/will fall, personally, i will recommend to all, to stay away from this company.
I was going to buy from gearbest but reading these reviews it seems like they are crooks and liars. Would anyone from the company care to respond to this??
Seems to me, the company was doing great 1-2 years ago, im about to write a real bad review, customer support is appalling. :(

Hi Steve. Read the Australian reviews pretty much 1 star average. If you have been waiting for the product for some time I would look at getting a refund through your payment system soon as and not later. I waited nearly 2 months for a pair of headphones. I ordered and paid extra $2 for 10 days 'priority' shipping. I had to get Paypal to intervene and get a full refund after it was becoming evident from lack of communication on their part to actually answer my questions. It's a faceless promise filled web operation that I won't be using again.
NO replies or delivery of the product payed for this site is a scam site
Sunny at gearbest Didn't give full refund, kept stalling me and changing his mind. Guy is a total crook. I saw on Aus bargains he claimed to repent so they would keep posting his adds. Scammers. So many people furious of with them
Hi, I live in Australia and am a loyal customer of GearBest and have recommended to all my friends to use the site. I am very happy with their pricing and delivery. Some items take a week some 30 dyas but regardless they arrive even without an insurance.
I want to purchase a mobile but not sure which Brands/models are compatable in Australia. Last time I bought a beautiful mobile phone (Wiko) in Thailand but was not able to use it in Australia with Australian Telco SIMM cards.
So does anyone know 100% certainty which brand/models/s do work in Australia?

Hi Faruk I have purchased a mobile phone just last month from GearBest (I haven't sent my final comments yet) and I can't praise the company and the product high enough! The phone is called UMI Super, it costed me AUS $220 and it works great; it is a 2016 model (June or July I think), runs Android 7 and it works fine in Melbourne
I am with Telstra, all I had to do is go to a Telstra shop and they provided free a new sim card (the old one from my Samsung was big and transferred all my files for me.
For shipping I paid $6.30 for DHL delivery and had it within 5 days; the free option is good but it will take much longer, as they clearly indicate in the shipping options. I also paid $1.60 for insurance.
All worth it

Tristna you must be very unlucky! Since my phone purchase I have bought a number of other gadgets from Gearbest, Bangood and merchants fromAlibaba without any problem at all I must be very lucky or you are doing something wrong
By the way all products are great and my phone works as new!!!!

Here are the purchase details of the Blackview smartphone. I have already sent you 3 emails, with no reply. There is NO manual with the phone and we cannot find any details on how to operate the phone on the internet. We therefore have put in a request via Paypal for a full refund of the phone. It is of no use to us without a manual.

It's very rare to get any kind of manual with a phone irrespective who you buy from. My last phone I bought direct from Google, the Nexus 5 and there was no manual. To download apps go to the Play Store, an icon should be on your phone. Type in the app you want and click to install. To find out how to do certain things, go to a search engine (Google, Bing, Yahoo) and enter your search. There's a lot of people out there with the knowledge who will be willing to share that knowledge. Good luck with your new phone.

should I trust gearbest for their self balancing scooters?
Hello, to be honest I couldn't answer that question but for my experience as a first time buying something from them and definitely will be my last as well. I paid $90 U.S for that camera and after 1 month it died on me, they gave me 2 options, $30 refund or I paid $40 for a new camera without returning. The crappy one that I have. Mind you I can get a full refund before 45 days but what is the point, first it will take another 2 weeks or so to reach them and second I'll probably pay over $20 for the shipping anyways. So it leaves me no choice but to pay them another $40 just to get a replacement camera. That was my issue and I apologized if I couldn't answer your question.
