If you lay buy what percentage deposit do you need?
Im not sure if goldmark offer layby or what % they would expect. I requested a afterpay payment which is the total amount divided into 4 fortnightly payments. My purchase would have been about $150, compared to the total amount of $590
I have a beautiful engagement ring that was purchased in 2022, when I purchased it I think they had to end up ordering my size in as I was an M and the ring was too dainty to resize my issue is I have lost weight and need it probably 1 full size smaller. Would I need to purchase a new ring due to it not being resized in the first place?

With care plan you can have your ring sized once a year up to two sizes for no extra charge.
has anyone been sold brittle gold from this company? I have now twice.
I took a ring back, cause a stone fell out and I lost it, when I got back a quote I was told the repairer said it was brittle and he would not repair it, so now we know that Goldmark sells brittle gold. Never will I buy another thing from them.
Do you get a warranty with a 1,000 gold and diamond ring
Because your stores are closed how does this effect my warranty on a watch which probably needs replacing if this virus keeps your store closed. RON
I purchased a white gold ring early december and by xmas time I took it back as it lost a stone the ring was $499, the lady sent it back so I let it go for 2 weeks and went in the other day and she said oh yes Im not happy with there work and didnt fix it properly so she was sending it back again, I now have to wait 4 -6 weeks when I have only wore the ring for a total of 2 weeks. Where can I go from here??
I would contact consumer law love, you fill out an online inquiry form with your issue and let them know you want a refund and they will investigate the matter for you.

Yes you can get silver wet but I would suggest dry it off once out of the water .

I brought a crsytal set at goldmark, they have turned black I only used them once...I purchased in October 2015 used them in November and put them away went to use them before Xmas and they are black...I no longer have my receipt as it faded I have looked through to find the purchase but I'm pretty sure I paid cash as it was birthday money, I'm extremely angry as I followed the crystals care card I got..I really don't understand what's happened please can I get some advise on how this can be handled?

Hi there.. i don't think goldmark reply on here. I know with their packaging it can tarnish your jewellry if u store them in those boxes. Maybe thats what hapoened?
A similar thing happened to my gold crystal necklace I wore it twice and the next time I pulled it out of the box to wear a few of the crystals had turned black. I was told maybe I'd sprayed the necklace with perfume or accidentally got it wet or wore it in the shower. None of the above happened I spray my perfume before placing my jewellery on, I don't go anywhere near water when I'm out to dinner or shopping and I definitely don't wear me jewellery in the shower. I was told because of the above reasons and the fact it could have been my own fault there was nothing they could do!! I was furiously angry at the time and still feel very ripped off about the fact my gorgeous jewellery is now ruined and there was nothing they could do about it, the fact I wasted money on a piece of jewellery that now sits in its box and never gets worn. I still believe it to be wrong and unfair so now I just have never brought another piece of jewellery with crystals in it!!!
How long can you layby for at gold mark?
We do a 3 month lay-by with a 25% deposit.

If you take your bracelet into your closes Goldmark store with your reciept they should be able to help you with it. It is hard to tell what they can do over the phone or internet in regards to your bracelet but if you take it in they can always send it off to head office and get the jeweler to look at it and see if it was a product fault and work out if they can fix it for you or if they think it is better to have it replaced.
Well this problem is similar to mine I brought 9ct gold bangel on the 12 Dec I took it of a couple of weeks ago to clean a found a crack in it it is in a place you can't see unless you take it off,verydisappointing. As I don't have a car and live a half an hour away have to wait for someone to give me a ride I decided to make contact online but could only send message as they don't have email. So couldn't send photos. Oh and I haven't heard back from them. Di

can you cancel a goldmark layby and do you get your deposit back or part thereof?
You can cancel the layby but you loose 25% or $25 depending on what is less :)
Yes you can cancel a lay by, but unless you've paid a reasonable amount off the lay by I wouldn't suggest cancelling especially with the $25 lay-by cancellation fee. It's dead money to pay that much cancellation. So if you really have to cancel and lose your $25 I suggest in future be absolutely positively sure you want to lay by, can afford and have no other choice. In most cases it's easier to save the money at home for the jewellery you want and if you change your mind or decide you aren't wanting to spend your saved $$$ on the jewellery at least there's no $25 cancellation fee!!
