Why can't my Iprimus VX220 modem allow a new provider connect the VoIP service?
How much is an email only service. I want to change service provider but keep my Primus email address
Has my landline phone been disconnected now as requested? It has an engaged tone constantly? I thought it would be dead when cut off?

This is untrue as the modem will not accept new configuration settings for telephony even though they can be changed visually. A phone call to TpLink confirmed that this model is factory set to have the telephony component remain as per initial settings. Only internet settings can be reconfigured.

I'm in Victoria but my entire experience with lprimus has been superb from initial consult about there product the speedy delivery of the modem easy to set up. When l did have an issue accessing my account the customer service operator could not have been more patient and helpful as possible I even helped me get a much cheaper price on my other products(mobiles) I've switched everything to them. Speed of WiFi unbelievable.

No, not a scam. Have you tried ringing their customer support number? I have been with iPrimus for over 20 years and have rarely had a problem. When I have needed to call them they have always been very helpful. 13 17 89 is their number.

i was with iprimus for nearly 10 years and sadly had to change to another isp because they had a better plan that suited my needs , i kept the old modem at a cost of $129-00 but i need to keep my home phone number , what happens regarding to this ? Regards Gordon

Hi A.M, you’ll have access to an iPrimus e-mail if you have an active internet with us or if you’re paying for an e-mail only service. Once you cancel your internet service, your e-mail will be cancelled too unless to advise otherwise or transfer your email to another plan.
