2022 MUX Tailgate won't open. When attempting to open it will give three quick beeps and then nothing. Boot is empty and no obstructions outside. Have attempted the factory tailgate reset as recommended by dealer with no luck. Has anyone experienced this?
Cannot help on that. But I find the automatic tail gate opening is works at about 10% of less. However the auto close when I am working putting things in or out, happen and closes on me 50% of the time. Need to fing how to turn it off. It's dangerous
hey mate, might be a loose wire for the trailer plug if you have one? Safety feature stops the boot opening if towing
Hey Brenton, I had the same problem. Mine was intermittent and luck of the draw if it would open or not. The dealership found an open circuit on one of the sensors, ordered a new one, fitted, and hasn’t missed a beat since. All done under warranty.
the reverse camera view has changed now i can see part of number plate and the paint work on car. is there a way to change view
Has anyone had any issues with rodent damage? I have had a large rat become stuck inside air vent where heater and fan are. Apparently it has chewed through filters to get there. I've been told not a warranty issue and insurance won't cover it. It was stuck there for 3 weeks and died while I was away. The stench was terrible and have had maggot fall out inside car.
MUX 2022 LST Tailgate will not open using rear handle nor any other way , Key fob activates blinkers but that is all . Close button inactive.
Best suggestion is if it is still under warranty, take to the dealer. Could be the mechanical/electronics of the door or the fob.

Hi all, has anyone had this problem. The fuel gauge shows full after refueling, but seems to get stuck there, after about 150 k's it jumps down but then gets stuck there for another 100 k or so. Once down near half, the gauge starts working properly.
The tail gate will not open when caravan is connected
Hi Barney, The system stops the tailgate with van attached to avoid damage. It can be changed in the settings menu but the trick is you need to connect the van to allow the menu to be opened in the car. Just check your owners manual for more info. good luck!
Anyone else had issues with the air conditioning/ventilation system switching to recirculated on its own. Driving along noting how stuffy it's gotten... might be temperature related...I think when the outside temperature gets above 18deg it does it
Hi John, Yes for some reason the recir/outside air always stays in auto mode (even though fan speed/ temperature setpoint stay in manual, and hold position for the next run). I've contacted Isuzu for a reflash. Basically what i've tested is that if the outside air temperature is greater than inside, the system selects "recirc" air, and if outside air is less than inside the system selects "outside" air. So its only a problem in summer, where it selects "recirc" and you have to manually press the button to go back to outside air.
Why is it that the video only works during reverse, but in others (direct, neutral and park) it is totally black. This happened only recently. The video was working well before.
Hi, i think my reverse camera only works when in reverse gear.
My child has accidently lost her earbuds down inside the middle row left hand side seat, down in the belt clip hole of the padded seat. I had a look at trying to remove the base by unsrewing the 5 screws, but it seems it a closed unit or requires alot of force to remove it as it seems the cloth is glued to the plastic base. Any solutions??
did you try just rolling the middle seats forward (they tumble where the back folds flat, then the entire seat rotates forward)
Yes i rolled it forward, which is how i found the screws under the seat to try and remove the plastic base that is enclosing the base of the seat.
Can’t open the tailgate with the caravan hitched
Hi , The tailgate by default (safety feature) won’t open with trailer attached but this can be changed in the settings. Just hook up the van (trick, van must be attached) as this allows you to access the tailgate settings in the cars menu. See owners manual for more info.

How to drain the fuel tank My wife put petroleum in it
I would like to ask if anyone is having water dripping in front passenger side and drivers side from air conditioning unit .floor carpet is saturated. Have taken back to dealer twice . They say something must be blocking drain line . Sounds like a manufacturing fault to me. They say to fix problem properly they need to take dash completely out which is what they should do as it is still under warranty. MUX LST 2021 Model.
Does anyone else think there 2022 Isuzu MUX changes gear quite regularly as mine does. Up hill or down.
Hi John, Yes, the transmission is terrible imo and the opinion of many others. I change into manual mode and stay in 5th on the highway. Sixth gear is useless. I still have my MUX only because I can’t afford to lose the dollars to get rid of it and buy another car. Disappointing vehicle, kicking myself for purchasing it.

Thanks OL55tu I’m disappointed some what about the transmission I also change it into manual especially down hill as it revs its head off if I don’t. I’m happy with the over all package but I’ll be keeping it.
Mine was the same & it used more fuel because of the constant gear changing. Along with many other faults my 2023 LST had I had to trade it in & loose money. What a dissapointing Joke.
It’s suppose to be some super fantastic new transmission new model in 2022 (waiting 8 months to arrive) I’m not a hard driver normally but I’m happy with the fuel economy on long trips 7.6 Lt per 100km.
That's good fuel economy! I've never got near that, in fact fuel consumption increases on the highway and i'm only a100km/hr driver. 6th gear would probably help , if it stayed in sixth for longer than 5 seconds.
It seem to me it’s the turbo that cuts in and out would that be right.
Phone reception is very poor. Person being called from car cannot hear anything clearly. Has anyone else had this problem. Car is new 2024 model.

What model/year is your MUX? I contacted dealership but they said that’s how the reverse cameras are set.
How can l turn off the beeping of the tail gate as we go away camping and it gets annoying for other campers when opening up to let the dog out early in the morning . Thanks
I've heard some just find the beeper and put a cover on it.
Is there a way to turn off speed alerts etc?
Yes, in settings, I changed it to alarm at 10km/h over the speed limit, from memory the default was 5km/h over which meant it beeped all the time.
