I recently purchased the Eden Platinum Plus. I was told it had zero gravity but there is no preset on the remote? Are you just supposed to guess? It seems a bit much when you've paid to get that function. Also the lift doesn't really lift as such. It tilts forward but it doesn't help get me to a standing position like a previous one did. Is that normal?
Hi Melanie, thanks so much for your message. To put your chair into the Zero Gravity position, you simply have to recline as far back as the chair will go. Also yes, the Eden Platinum+ Lift Chair uses a gentle tilting motion to assist the user into the standing position, before it starts to lift.

Thank you if you recline as far as it goes you end up laying nearly flat. Unfortunately due to the mobility issues that led to me purchasing the chair in the first place it isn't an easy thing to organise going back to the shop. I was trying to find a video of someone being lifted in the chair but couldn't. Do you have anything like that. This one seems to do tilting but minimal lift and my legs don't get straightened and I still have to do most of the lifting. If that is as far as it goes I've made a poor purchase but if you do have any videos showing the full lift function being used by a person that would be helpful.
Hi purchased a Laz boy Astor platinum plus in leather When I start to recline it made a squealing creaking noise I was told to rub leather conditioner the inside of seat sides and sides of chair and that seemed to eliminate the noise is that normal to happen
Hi all My mum just started using the Oslo chair we ordered custom-built with fabric cover and after an hour of use it is extremely uncomfortable with a rather thick stitching in the middle of the chair. It's rock hard and store refused to help . It cost $3000 and it's so uncomfortable and hard it cannot be used. Has anyone had this experience? It's horrible!

Hello everyone. We have looked at the Lazy Boy lift chairs and have a quote. We are impressed with the service so far and that the chair (with battery) seems to have a quiet movement. They quoted $160 for unpacking etc. but is it so hard to do myself? Thanks.
We recently purchased a two and a half seater double electric recliner console from Lazy boy and we find it very comfortable and are more than happy with it . We did have the driver unpack and set it up for us and that made it easy.

You should look at how many negative reviews La-Z-Boy has all extremely recently and how bad the after sales support is. The only good reviews being pasted are people who have just bought the couch or had it for a very short period of time.

Has anyone used the battery power pack that you don't need to have a cord running across the room. If so I would like to know what you received in your pack, all we got was the battery (oval shaped) no power transformer which we believe we should of received, we only got an AC/DC adaptor which comes with the chair to be used if you used main power all the time. Appreciate any information as La Z Boy are not helping at all they just talk around and around in circles and are not solving our problem.
HI, you use the power cord that is plugged in to the sofa itself. It is confusing but unplug the plug from the sofa that you would have plugged in to the wall. This then is your charger. Charge up for about 3hrs or overnight. Seems to last so far about 3-4 weeks with decent use. Quite elegant really and so you don't lose the cord in the way they designed it. The Bundall store in QLD was very helpful and that's how I found this out.
Thanks, but this still does not recharge our battery, we are about to get our 4th battery. We have been told to use the adaptor AC/DC but this does not recharge it, we still believe we should have a transformer to do the charging.
We have purchased a single recliner and purchased the battery pack to go with it. Is there an inbuilt battery charger in the chair, as we have only been given an AC/DC adaptor to use to recharge the chair. We have been given 3 different batteries as they are not holding their charge since March 2022 and now about to get our 4th. The sales team just apologies and the problem is not resolved. Waiting for our 3rd warranty claim, to happening which will take weeks as usual. Spoke to store of purchase and suggested a Technician come to inspect the chair to see if there is a fault which is causing the battery not to charge and was advised if a Tech did come out it was at our cost. How bad is that La Z boy is this how you look after customer service. Not happy, would like to enjoy the chair not spending weeks waiting for a reply from their warranty department which only work 3 days a week and is always very busy to deal with claims.

We purchased the single chair from the Morayfield store, also have a 3 seater on order for delivery later in the year. We can not understand how we do not have a transformer for the battery pack, we are told it is built into the AC/DC adaptor, but this is the adaptor given with every chair to use main power. As you can see your warranty dept. only work 3 days a week so we have to use the chair with an extension lead which defeats the purpose of buying a battery back to have a clear floor and no leads running across the floor. So as usual this will take weeks to get another battery to fail 6 weeks after, as this has been approx. the length of time for each battery as we believe the AC/DC adaptor is not charging the battery and as my husband doesn't use the recliner a lot on the chair so when it's flat we don't have a transformer to recharge it. Yes she did speak to me and again we have to wait could be up to 2 weeks as she has to wait for La Z Boy to review the warranty claim. This is the last warranty claim if this next one fails AGAIN we want a full refund.

I frequently travel back and forward from the US to Australia. There is a model available in the US that I cannot buy here. It is a wall hugger and XL (I'm 6'4") and you can't buy that combination in Australia. If I buy it when I'm in the US and ship it to Australia is it covered by an international La-Z-Boy warranty?
