VerifiedHi. My name is Tom..I m waiting for my number to transfer and activate after 4 to 6 hrs. Now it's over 6 hrs
I have a uk mobile phone and sim but when I got to Australia, I can only get SOS service. I purchased international roaming but I can’t get anything. Prior to this change to labara, I was on Vodafone and EE previous to that and I could get connectivity with no issues so I know Vodafone works in this area as I’ve used it prior. Can you please advise how I can get network. Failing that I will cancel Lebara contract and go back to either Vodafone or EE as I got to Australia 2 times a year for 3 months at a time. Pretty disappointing experience with labara. I’ve done everything like put in airplane mode, switch off and on again, taken it off automatic selection etc but to no avail. I am here for a few months and it’s imperative I can check messages. I can’t even log into my bank as I won’t receive a text with code….. advise me how I can get it back otherwise I will cancel once I’m back in uk.
I live in the UK and have a monthly top up sim. I am currently in Australia. Before leaving the UK, I spoke to Lebara as I was concerned about receiving my text messages and phone calls. I was advised to pay £20 extra and that my messages and calls in Australia would be activated. I am now in Australia and cannot receive phone calls or messages from the UK. I am now relying on my Whats App. I need to access my messages, what do I do?
I bought 180 days SIM card. But when I activated it, that showed I needed to add the credit card to recharge it. That seems like I have empty SIM card that I needed to recharge it.

It probably means that you have no coverage. Lebara uses Vodaphone as the carrier, so if you are able to get on the internet, search for Vodaphone coverage map. Don't trust it 100% though. It is highly inaccurate, but it should give an idea of what your coverage is.

Hi, I bought a 25GB Lebara Starter pack and when I tried activating it, the system does not accept Wise or Amex or overseas Credit card. I am a tourist and do not possess any Australian ID documents. Please advise how do i activate the SIM. Thanks.

I can't activate my new starter pack
I purchased a Lebara SIM a few weeks ago. I had no problem activating it and I'm no genius at this sort of stuff. Maybe Lebara will respond to your Product Review complaint and sort it out for you; I suspect that is a fault on their side rather than yours. On a separate issue, I had problems with Lebara data rate that I didn't have with a heap of other SIM providers. And I see a heap of other people have also had the same data-rate problem. Personally I wouldn't buy a Lebara SIM again.

I recieved a text message from Lebara to update my account information or have my mobile service suspended.
I haven't had any change to my personal information so why am I being requested to share my all my personal information to someone over a phone. I have been with Lebara for a number if years and previuosly with other mobile service providers and have never been asked this so why is Lebara forcing this ?
