Hi there,

I've recently bought 3 x Gigabyte M28U monitors from your store. 2 are functioning correctly while 1 is suffering from banding issues across the screen. It's clearly faulty. If you search online you'll find other people who have had the same issue with this monitor. I've been through hell and back providing sample photos and video evidence of the fault in the attempt to get a replacement. As you would... An $800 monitor isn't working, obviously I want an immediate replacement! Your team EVENTUALLY agreed that they would allow me to send my monitor back to their team to assess whether it's broken or not (even with multiple photos and videos). Lucky me.

I'm a day trader and require all these monitors to make my living and cannot afford to wait 4 weeks while they assess the situation. I've called up the Adelaide department and offered to bring in the monitor and show them the fault so they can swap it on the spot. They said I need to go through support first. Can you please help me out here? I haven't left any reviews yet but it's getting to the point where I'm beyond frustrated as you could imagine.

They are absolutely useless -in fact the 3 year warranty I had on my TP link modem router for 3 years - this happened only two years into the warranty period- was not very well managed considering the fact I had a complete and unexpected failure of the device. They ask 20 million questions after the manufacturer has ok’d the replacement under warranty and offered a case number to me. I simply went elsewhere. I didn’t want to argue although I was very well within my rights to do so. I felt the bloke at PC Bytes was attempted to negate the claim completely. And I felt the manufacturer was only too happy to back out of supporting the customer. There are ways around this but PC Bytes are not above board IMO.

I haven't been provided with a order number or given any update on my $1900 order. In addition to this, it says on their website that i have no current orders. Has this happened to anyone else?

In my experience you get an order No but I also didn’t have any current orders recorded in my account. At the very least I suggest you ask them for an invoice with your order No as proof of order although actually getting responses from them is almost impossible.

I finally got through to the Auburn store after a 40 minute wait. Apparently they have a massive backlog of orders. One of my items had only arrived instore today, but it was in stock when I ordered it a week ago. I would suggest calling them and waiting on hold, as I have emailed and sent messages with no reply. It seems to me they are under-staffed in a big way. You will have to unfortunately keep the pressure on, as you will be luck if they return your call or email. I certainly won't be using them again - ever.

I just got through 1hr 40 minutes after only to be told that they cannot amend my online order and I have to email this request through. They cannot also delete my order as no manager available in the store. Possibly the worst customer service ever!

Do not trust this company, you will be ripped off, scammed and s**t outta luck should anything go wrong. They do not follow Australian Consumer Law and they don't care about customers, only keeping your money.
