Do they still put profiles on the devices to prevent theft? I got a phone from them but I don't see any kind of MDM profile or anything?

Can snaffle lock my device if there is no visible MDM profile installed? Iv had a phone contract with them before and my device had the MDM profile installed in the settings, but my new contract new phone does not actually have the MDM profile installed. Maybe locked because who u bought it from had not finished making payments or maybe he stole it from someone else who has reported the phone stolen. So sorry you got gibed out of your money for buying from an unhonest seller. Perhaps

means they have not even been collected from wherever they have sourced the item from yet. Means they have sent out a request to the company to ship it but it is yet to be shipped :( Mine has said pending for up to 3 weeks or so now with Aus post. Doubt it is even in stock wherever they are trying to source it from

Yes you only have to pay a $1 payout. Though if buying electronic goods make sure to submit the warranty incase item dies, as I found out that you can actually end up with a longer warranty time frame for submitting than if you don't

Are anyone aware of the mdm remote management profiles placed on snaffles devices??? Never in my life have I ever in the past went rent to owning a device had mdm remote management placed on a device I'm not an employee as I believe it was only for ither schools or the work place sharing my thoughts and questions for anyone else whom might have taken notice thanks

Hi there Essy397, This is a security feature, which is advised in the terms and conditions of our contracts. This secures your phone if it is lost or stolen, we can remotely lock the product for you to ensure no one else can use your device and access your personal content. Additionally, in the case that someone has stolen it and tries to sell it at a third party store - such as Cash Convertors, they easily identify that the phone is not owned by that person, and they contact us. We can then organise the return of the phone with you and the third party.

We have the management tool installed on the device whilst under contract, as soon as the contract is complete we can have the security tool removed right away for you. We can in no way view your usage, data, content or any personal information.

We apologise if this caught you by surprise, we have got it listed in our terms and conditions and are more than happy to explain the programme to you.

Hi Carly, No not at all.. We understand that circumstances change and sometimes you are going to have to balance out your income and may need to change your repayments. If there is continued missed payments and lack of communication we may lock the phone temporarily, but please rest assured we do not lock the phone every time a payment is missed. We are the home of flexible payments, and we are a pretty accommodating bunch. Thank you.

Ordered a tv and as palmerkyle has stated it takes ages I waited 2.5 months and supplier still hadn't got stock but snaffle organised contract as though it was ready to ship. They also changed contract as 1st supplier was having issues getting stock. My time period ran short so had to go another route but it will turn up but be prepared to wait and countless phonecalls to recieve any sort of update.
