StarTrack is the worst postal service in Australia, I’ve had to get orders sent trough them multiple times now and never have they delivered on the estimated date, honestly don’t give me an estimated date if you can’t have it delivered by than, u give me a estimated delivery for next day because it’s express but than it’s not here until 3 days later every time without fail. So I say again why give me an estimated time, it’s literally made every person in Australia not want to use your service, I will never send through u guys and I wish I didn’t have to receive through u guys

My package has been sent as FPP on Thursday morning (12th dec) from a business in Melbourne, a power supply unit critically and urgently needed, the tracking says shipping info was received by Aus post at 13:46 Thursday 12th.
According to the website/service description - FPP is supposed to be next day delivery, it has been sitting at a larger distribution centre since 21:08 last night (Thursday 12th Dec) (Melbourne VIC), apparently nothing has happened since then according to tracking.
I called Star Track today on 132 345 , the person I spoke to said they will try to contact the distribution centre for info and escalated its priority to ''high''.
no response from the distro centre after an hour or two, I called again, escalated to ''urgent'' and it was passed to a team leader who was supposed to be able to contact that distro centre more effectively.
Team leader called me, also tried to be helpful (which i appreciated) but didnt have any specific info, i.e they couldnt figure out if my package was still sitting in Melb VIC or had been sent to Canberra (as it's FPP means its going by Airfreight and possibly managed by Aus post).
It's now 8:15pm on a Friday and I am unsure when this package will arrive, the distro centre here (likely Aus post in Fyshwick, covering ACT and border town NSW) may or may not work on Saturday to do deliveries, the Team leader was unable to confirm though thought they probably would because they're going to have to try and manage the Christmas load.
Does this mean I am not going to get the Fixed Price Premium delivery until Monday or Tuesday?
The tracking currently implies its still sitting in Melbourne, if the tracking hasn't been updated and it's been sent to the Canberra distro centre, then is it going to just sit there until delivery and someone decides to update the tracking?
What is the point of the tracking if its not done consistently? What is the point of next day delivery service if it doesnt get delivered or even properly tracked between different but joined orgs?
I do not fault any of the people who helped me deal with this case via the phone, they were all great, I'm just trying to question the overall process and try to better understand when will my urgently needed package arrive?
Arriving on Monday already puts me 2 days behind on expensive work that needs to be done prior to Monday.

Great, considering it was Fixed Price Premium and the seller specified it must be signed for upon delivery, can you find a signature associated with the delivery? I would love to know who signed for it.
It scans as having been delivered just after noon on 15 December. Your name (or your name on Product Review anyway) is on the signatory line. If you receive frequent deliveries, is it possible that you meant to discuss a different case or consignment? If not, I would suggest contacting us directly so that we can get your case reopened.
Today I received the following text from StarTrack “ STARTRACK COURIER attempted delivery of your courier job 380172 at SOUTHBANK at 06:14” but when I click on the link it just says they attempted delivery, it doesn’t say where my parcel is or if they will re-attempt. Have had issues with them in the past where my parcel was lost for a month. Please help.
My Startrack Consignment shows status as delivered TODAY and signed by someone whom I have no clue who that is. It was a parcel which required photo id as well. Tracking 850Z13329517. I was at home throughout the day and no yellow papers as well. Don't want to believe that my parcel is stolen by someone. Can Startrack help with this?

D5ZZ00283184FPP00001 Urgent documentation coming from Sydney to Perth. Picked up in Sydney and registered but then allegedly "in transit" for the last 15 hours? Still says delivery today but where is it
Hi Althom, I have taken a look at your Delivery via Consignment Number D5ZZ00283184. I can see that we did indeed pick it up yesterday Afternoon. The last update we have received was the item being unloaded at the Perth Startrack Facility at around 5am this morning. I recommend that you keep monitoring the scans for further updates or give us a call on 13 23 45 for an ETA. - Nathan
Why does the "unloading" in Perth not show up on tracking?
Yes that is a good question, we are currently trying to update our systems to display more accurate scans for your items. The next update for your tracking should say added to scan list or On board for Delivery if you have had no updates till about 2PM then i recommend calling our team to escalate it for you. - Nathan
Called 132345 and the bot tells me the last update it has is of 17h59 yesterday so the bot is even less accurate than Track & Trace. I also entered 1 as these are travel docs required within the next 5 days and the system hung up on me

How do you "wait online" when the bot says Goodbye and terminates the call?
When you call in again just give the robot your Consignment Number and ask to speak with a consultant then it will put you through. - Nathan
Spoke to a person. They tell me it's with a driver but that that won't show up on Track & Trace. Track & Trace is apparently absolutely useless

At least Track & Trace is now showing it to be on a truck in WA

My StarTrack delivery has been delivered to an entirely different city about 12 hours away and says delivered in full and the consignment tracking also says delivered, why is this? My consignment number is 85OZ12519483

What time do you stop delivering? I have a premium delivery due to arrive today that hasn’t been delivered. It’s 7pm in Qld on a Friday. Could it still be delivered tonight or tomorrow?
Hi Martine, Ted here. Apologies for the delay in my reply, but StarTrack doesn't monitor this page 24 hours. In answer to your question, StarTrack's deliveries will generally take place on business days during business hours, so ending around 5:00 or shortly thereafter.

For some reason there are three separate estimated delivery dates depending if I use the app or the website. First one for the 21/09 second is the 22/09 while the third is 27/09. Really confusing. Consignment is SCSZ02537251.

Hi there, I am wanting to book through StarTrack Road Express but am a bit hesitant given all these bad reviews. Once my parcel (it is a suitcase) is to be collected next week, it has to arrive at the destination within 2 weeks otherwise I will have left the country and won't be able to get it. Is there any sort of common theme you are seeing with all these complaints and some way you can assure me that these are isolated incidents?
I have a parcel that will be getting sent to me via StarTrack (I don’t have the tracking number yet). But auspost don’t deliver to my address yet As it’s a new estate so my parcels get automatically directed to the post office down the road from me. As StarTrack is partnered with auspost will it go to the post office as well or to a depot etc? Preferably not a depot as they’re way too far for me to go to.
Hi Jaymie, That depends on which of our services the sender has opted for. We will be able to tell you when you have that consignment number, but basically Express freight will be returned to a depot location, while Premium freight would indeed go to a post office local to you. -Ted
Hi there, I received an e-mail three days ago saying that my parcel has been shipped, but when I try to check the attached tracking number, I get a message saying that the number doesn't exist? Tracking number is A11913027823. Many thanks.
Hi Leah, I've had a look in the system and this tracking number doesn't appear there (and doesn't appear to be a StarTrack tracking or "consignment" number. If this parcel was sent via StarTrack, it will definitely have been issued one. My best advice in this instance would be to contact the parcel's sender directly as they should definitely be able to give you that. Once we have that, tracking the parcel shouldn't present any further difficulty. -Ted
Hi there. My item has been "ready for processing" for about the third day now. The ETA was set for the 5th of July and its now the 7th. The system is not updating so I wanted to know if there's a problem at the depot

Hi Thishalia, The best thing to do in this instance would be to contact the parcel's sender directly. "Ready for Processing" or "Shipping information received" basically mean that while StarTrack has been advised that the parcel exists, it hasn't been released to us yet. Only the sender themselves can tell you when they plan to do so. -Ted
i have the same problem and i contacted the sender and they said it has left their warehouse on friday
Is it normal for a package to be marked as Delivered when it is still on the way from the depot to my address? The time between the two places is at least 2 hours. It seems a bit fishy that as soon as I contacted via email with the content details (as requested) that the parcel is suddenly marked as Delivered. It's definitely not. I thought the receiver would need to show their license at least to prevent the wrong person receiving it.

I ordered a parcel for same day express delivery on Thursday and got an email that said attempted delivery but receiver unavailable. I haven’t heard anything since this I was wondering if I’m supposed to pick up my parcel from a local depot or if delivery will be reattempted on Monday? My track job number is 180297 and consignment number is 5391529410632

My son is waiting on an Express delivery that was collect on Tuesday. Today there was according to system an attempted delivery but "Attempted delivery - Unable to gain access" which is false as there is nothing blocking access from road to house, think lazy driver did not even turn up as I have been home all day and did not notice any deliver person. Phone operator states cannot contact driver, think this driver should be investigated at least! Not happy. Can any real action be done?

My item has been "On Board for Delivery" yesterday and today, was meant to come in yesterday and it still hasn't come in (It's still 4, but the same thing was happening yesterday. I called the sender as the tracking updated, and they told me they were refused when in fact, no one came to my door. I was basically waiting by the door the whole day.
