Taking Shape Questions & Answers

Sorry can't offer any good news. Based on my experience with Taking Shape I wouldn't expect any help from them either. I certainly will never shop with them again.

I am unsure what your rights are here. Perhaps call the ACCC for advice.

If this characteristic of the fabric- i.e fabric may shrink(even when Fabric Care Instructioned) is not mentioned on the label, or The TS Site, the Product was not fit for purpose at the point of sale, as mandated under the Trade Practices Act.

I suggest contacting their Customer Services and make this point verbally and backup with supporting Email if necessary.

Haha, yeah not big on the slogans thing either. Fortunately I am tall enough (just) to get away with their regular length range, even if sometimes the 3/4 pants are more like 7/8 on me and their 7/8 pants are full length. Send those suggestions to the contact on their website and/or facebook. They are pretty receptive to feedback as they want people to buy their clothes.

Hi Paris, you could try Dylon Run Away Dye Remover or Dr Beckmann Colour Run remover. Dr Beckmann currently available online from Catch.com.au - I have not tried either products but it is worth a try, you don't have anything to lose other than perhaps restoring your top so you are able to wear again.

Hi Kahlua, yes l used Dr Beckmann both sachets and it didn't come out, called Ts Taking Shape today to see what they can do for me. No happy about there products, l've started purchasing plus size fashion from overseas really cheap great products and super fast delivery.

You could send photo to Taking Shape - It may be known problem ? or post it onto their Facebook that should jolt them into action

Hello sng165 l have sent them sone photos of the top, there reply was to bad, not there problem, as l washed them both in the same wash, funny how one did it and the other no problems. Now purchasing clothing from overseas, not going back!!!!

Hello Paris , What I would have done is go into a T/S boutique and showed them the problem, BUT do not do anything to the item itself !! Then you ask them for a replacement or a suggestion on what they can do for you ! But you must leave all tickets on .DON"T remove them .They are safe guarding themselves .But also want your continued business. If after that still no satisfaction, phone them and ask to speak to the complaints department. All the best, hope this HELPS in some small way. Best wishes Lynne .

Thanks Lynne, l did call head office to be told nothing can be done about it....they didn't even offer to replace it....l now shop at other plus size outlets with no problems with clothing. Soon l won't even need plus size, already getting into (normal) size clothing....

There loss, as l won't be going back!!!!
