Techrific Australia Questions & Answers
Verifiedis this reliable
NO! from all my experience ( and others I had contact with) with these scammers emails and endless stalling delay tactics. If you go ahead and buy from them and you did read all the posts? well its all on you.
Go read up on "Catchdeal too" They are the same mob also Google the name and read up on the ACCC enforcements and note the date stamps and then look at all the posts scene then! Notice anything?
You will just end up with a second hand old phone that some one else no longer wanted for that reason.
Google China refurbished phones! notice anything?
I won all my costs back through my Bank and legal challenge as they were never going to refund otherwise, and the best part I got a big QQ after my Bank did a charge back ROLF.
You will never get a Australian Brand name warranty with the phone as it is not a Australian model. You will be stuck with their so called useless warranty, meaning you will have to sort your own problem out LMFO. GOOD LUCK!!
Plz don’t buy from them do your self a favour and go somewhere else! You will be far more happy!
thought I was buying from Kogan, these Muppets are absolutely a waste of time and the most useless shop I have ever dealt with, no phone number, all AI bot [Content Removed] took 6 hours of wasted time trying to get an answer, filed a dispute with my bank to recoup the money, stuff brus and stuff kogan.
sorry to ask this
but is catch deal same company
as catch...it's just odd
people complain about techriffic catch deal goes down then catch company selling from hong kong/china...anyone thinks its tcf in a different format...any help on this please
Techrific and catchdeals are both owned by the same man from Hong Kong, however, he resides in Australia. The accc has Placed an undertaking on his company. Techrific has traded since 2005, catchdeals since 2015, if you google Hendryk Wijaya (the owner) and accc or techrific you should find the accc court document .
sincere thank you ange for reply
..very much appreciated.

A part from the post. It reads, Thought it might be a good idea to resurrect this thread as I have just had a rather bad experience with this company; Techrific Australia a.k.a. Brus Australia &, as it turns out, a.k.a. 'deal_aussie' on eBay!;
Bought, what I thought were, two new iPhones 6s' from 'deal_aussie' on eBay, as the phones were listed as;
'New: Never used'. I was therefore a bit disappointed when both phones arrived with scratches & marks & in a general condition that could only be described as clearly used.
One of the phones (I have not tested the other) also had a battery that was far from new as it has limited capacity.
A bit of research, moving from eBay's 'deal_aussie' to the PayPal seller name; BRUS AUSTRALIA P/L,
via Google & TECHRIFIC AUSTRALIA, CatchDeal & the mother company; TCF GLOBAL LIMITED, I made it here.
All these companies appear to be the same company with the address; 28 Law Ct, Sunshine West VIC 3020
(PO Box 13128, Law Courts VIC 8010, Ph: 1300 768 790)
There is stacks to read about these apparently dodgy companies & their dealings with customers, ACCC & Consumer Affairs VIC; (end)
They just can't help them selves, once again violating ACCC rulings. Stay tuned for more ACCC enforcements lol
Toby Boolambayte Nov 14 post claims they sell Australian stock. This is untrue they come from a location in Shenzhen, Guangdong and the freight times are far longer than 3 days! A fool stuffed up and left a document in the sealed box LOL, it gave me info to how to search this out. Well over 6 months ago there were some 15 or more 5 star Verified posts taken down by Product Review, and I submit again these are untrue claims again. They do not have stock in Australia, they do not have a real address in Australia only a virtual address that send mail back to China ( this is easy to prove! ) and they do not have a phone number to contact them. There are other posts on other sights still to this day talking about the scam they still persisting at, selling so called new or this term they love to use Refurbished! ,is nothing but old broken phones with non genuine parts with No Brand Name Warranty!!!!!!
Thank you Steve for slot of info..have to be very careful of this company..never buying from them ever again..once bitten twice shy.
Plz don’t buy from them do your self a favour and go somewhere else! You will be far more happy!
Hi all, my dad purchased a phone off these guys and it gave him an electric shock before falling apart. Long story short we have been to NCAT and won but they havent paid up, we are considering lodging with Victorian courts and sending a sheriff to enforce the order from NSw but tgis will cost a bit of money (around $300) has anyone done this and been successful? Is it worth spending more money on this?
They are in China, good luck as they violate Australian consumer law and I have seen your problem before. In Australia it is illegal to sell electrical goods that were put into the rubbish cause of potential problems like yours. Buying second hand electrical items from overseas is full of issues. One is dose the item meet Australian standards? short answer NO. To find this look for the Australian standards sticker on the electrical item, then you have your answer. Check the ACCC web sight and follow the links to these and more questions buying second hand electrical items from overseas!
DOC]Brus Australia Pty Ltd, trading as 'Techrific' and Hendrik Wijaya ...
https://www.consumer.vic.gov.au/.../brus-australia-pty-ltd-and-hendrik-wijaya.doc
For Australian network check this if and when you find an issue with these phones. As I did when it was not working. external link external link How can I find a trustworthy supplier? catchdeal / Techrific and all the other alias names by this mob scammers matches this post so well. They will never pay you as Australian law has no jurisdiction in CHINA. The sheriff is not going to travel to China. They have no address location here in Australia where they are here in person.
They did have a reigistered address in victoria. A couple of years back (2013) they were forced by vic consumer affairs to advertise on their website for a few months that they understood and would comply with australian consumer law in vic to offer replacement for faulty items etc. I would raise a report with vic consumer affairs if still possible and have a go. Personally i would not deal with these guys at all. My experience with them was awful and they were deceitful. Whenever there is a problem they stall and deflect. I suspect my phone was refurbished as the imei number in the phone was diferent from the number on the box (that was after a repair which should have been replacement by consumer law). They insisted on return of charger and headphones with warranty clàim and didnt return them. When i complained they then sent back cheap rubbish. They have a victorian abn. Be warned, dont fall for the "CHEAP" prices. Buy from a bricks and mortar australian business - a lot of them have legit on line sites anď give manufacturers warranty not back to base.
OH WOW I have not looked at this page for some time. I remember over 15 5 star reviews were posted after my review and now they are all pulled down :P Was all the 5 star reviews phoney? I always believe they were as they did not sound right. Don't believe any 5 star review's.
Update!!!! They paid once we said we were going to lodge with Victorian courts. Lesson learnt here the hard way we will never again purchase from companies like this, its not worth the stress and effort if things go wrong. Im sure there are so many people who give up and walk away, but the more people that complain and follow through the more likely it is that companies like this will be known for the "dodgy" expletives they are.
Good as they should have from the start. They are a scammers selling broken, second hand rubbish and most likely don't comply to Australian standards for electrical goods. Their web page is just as bad and a scam for ACCC law.

A total useless phone and will NOT WORK IN AUSTRALIA!!!!!!!!
You can file a claim against them now cause of this ACCC enforcement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last year in 2017 Catchdeal/Techrific said they will not refund my postage costs that I incurred cause of their deceptive scam. Under ACCC law this is not so!! The products were not new! but second hand rubbish and were not in working order. Okay they were not going to comply last year, but BAM! the ACCC enforced a order upon them December 2017. Last week I enforced them to pay up or face legal challenge and then they would have had to pay all my legal costs that were going to be a lot more than 2 postage charges. Never give up know your rights under the ACCC law.
Hi. When they refused to refund or send me a new replacement for my brand new faulty phine i contacted ACCC. Took a few months and they advised me to go to sherif and file a suit. Fortunatley techrific got some sense and sent me a new phone. That stopped working after 3 months. I just gave up then. And made sure no one in my circle buys from them.
The ACCC can only advise you the process in getting your money back, and that includes all your costs incurred!! ie ( all postage costs and any legal costs in getting a court order under ACCC law ) The process for the courts is quite straight forward and these fools will have to pay your costs, cause it is under ACCC law!! Techrific/Catchdeal try all sorts delay tactics and never answer a single question. They have never changed and never will. I took action against Techrific/Catchdeal and won all my costs back after biding my time after my Bank did a charge back. When the ACCC forced them to comply with a court enforceable order it was so much easer XDDDDDDDD. You can still do this even now due to the fact, any court order will know about their past ACCC dealings. REMEMBER Once a scammer always a scammer, just go read up on the new posts and other forum posts on them. Why would they stop now??? cause selling broken second hand phones makes easy money. Google china refurbish phones. :P
Plz don’t buy from them do your self a favour and go somewhere else! You will be far more happy!
Are Techrific and Catchdeal (not catch of the day) the same company.
Looking at a s5 but after reading Techrific reviews think I'm probably better off paying extra and buying elsewhere?
Both websites are almost identical, so I'm wondering if it's there new alternative site?
Not sure. Though I had same observation as of yours. Better to go with someone contactable. Hope this will help
Not sure Bob. I can tell you that I am currently pursuing Techrific through QLD Fair Trading and if that does not produce results I will be going through the courts. I already have several other interested parties that would like to pursue them through the courts. It's time to put a stop to these thieves blatantly disregarding Australian Consumer Law and treating hard working Aussies with contempt.
Regards,
Dan
Thanks, and yep sounds like it's definitely not worth saving $ just to buy trouble! Think I'll play it safe andypay the extra money for peace of mind!
Cheers
I have no idea if it's the same company but after being burned from 2 different companies for phones that were actually built and shipped from China (although they were Australian websites), i decided that i would only but a phone from a retailer that i could either walk into our had a phone number i could call and speak to someone! A friend of mine did a lot of research and said that kogan appears to be reputable with their products. 2 different companies. ....2 different phones. .....but if you check in the about in settings, and compared to a genuine Samsung, it shows a Chinese build number/name.
After my experience with 10 weeks to get my s4 phone back after major failure when only 3 months from new, I would buy from someone like the good guys on line and pay the extra $100. Techrific still dont honour australian consumer law even though they got busted for it a couple of years ago. Look up the action against Brus Australia (Trading as techrific). They should offer refund or replacement for major failure but they bluff it out. I checked the imei number inside the phone after i eventually got mine back and it was different. God knows what they put back inside the phone to fix it. Dont trust them. Dont deal with them full stop. I cant believe so many positive feedbacks ( bit suss). Buy an australian ticked phone from an australian company. Try and find a telephone number to talk to someone at Techrific - good luck with that.
Same mob of scammers!! I brought a s5 through the catchdeal sight and my credit card showed Techrific Australia. I did other checks and read posts on this subject and seems to me to be the same scammers selling second hand and fake brand name goods as new. Their glossy adds show new phones!! and nothing about them being old. I found out the hard way but got my money back. They try bluff you into sending the item back at your cost but as per Australian law this is not so!!!. Go have a read of catchdeal on product review.
A post from another sight same old scam!!!! This should answer this question!!!
My Mrs has unfortunately fallen foul of the Techrific / Catchdeal Scam.
She unwittingly thought she was purchasing through a reputable site. She processed an order online but she didnt get a receipt, confirmation or anything so she thought it hadnt gone through and just left it.
3 days after the order the money leaves her account (she didnt realise until today). No email, no contact, no order confirmation.
tried contacting both operators and the techrific email response asked us to contact catchdeal.
We emailed catchdeal and then the same person answered from a catchdeal email.
The d*******ds forgot to change their signature when they replied from catchdeal so we get the same person replying from @techrific and also from @catchdeal.
The two sites are obviously operated by the same person in a scam, it wouldn't surprise me if they are also doing a GST scam.
Pointless dealing with Techrific so she requested the money back through the visa.
Do not buy through catchdeal
Online electronics retailers, BXT International Ltd (BecexTech) and TCF Global Ltd (which operates Techrific and CatchDeal) have admitted to contravening the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and provided court-enforceable undertakings to the ACCC.
I have been trying desperately to get my money back from Techrific for a product they can not supply to me. How come they won't refund me my money?
If you paid by paypal register a dispute, otherwise go on line to the consumer affairs in victoria and put in a formal complaint. These guys will just keep deflecting. Their practises are not acceptable and they do not conform to consumer laws from my experience with them. The also never answer a direct question with a direct answer.
They are in China not in Australia so they avoid all legal litigation, also their mail get re directed back to china. So go to your bank or pay pal and start the charge back and fill out a dispute form. I did and won!!!!
I am waiting for a refund from your dodgy company. I made a mistake by not looking you up on google first. I am sick of sending emails to only get NOTHING in return. How long until I get my money back or do I have to seek legal intervention?
Stay away from this "company" they are dodgy as all hell.
Same answer for previous. Good luck trying to get a straight answer from these guys. Just put a formal complaint into vic consumer affairs. Try for paypal dispute if you paid by paypal.I think these guys rely on bluff and the fact that a lot of people wont bother to put in a complaint
AFK is absolutely right - Techrific; BRUS Australia, or whatever other names they use, are dodgy and, unfortunately, the law of little use when it comes to dealing with shysters such as this. Be prepared for a protracted battle to secure your rightful refund.
Totti, I went through the same process with this company. Please contact me at accentresumes@gmail.com and I will give you all the info you require to get your money back.
Paul
Hi There,
Bought a phone today without getting an order approval or even an email saying that the phone has been bought. The funds of been taken out of my credit card straightaway. A bit worried if the phone (New phone) will be delivered to me in time?
A clarification from Techrific would be appreciated.
Jay Bakshi
If you dealt through PayPal either by credit card or via a PayPal account don't worry because you can claim all your money back if the phone is faulty. Techrific's site indicates that the phones are new and never used but the one I received was 3 years old and refurbished with non-genuine Apple parts so that Apple would not even look at it. If you are in Victoria, go to VCAT if you have to claim against Techrific, who won't show up at the hearing, which will be ruled in your favour. VCAT orders can be enforced through a magistrates' court. Please in future read all reviews about the company you are considering buying from. PS a new iPhone 5S (16Gb) is $539 from Kogan (very reputable) vs 3 Year Old at $478 from Techrific (scammers).
Good luck dealing with these clowns. Pay a bit more from the good guys or similar and get an australian phone with australian warranty. You get what you pay for. After 10 weeks of absolute frustration i finally got my repaired phone back. Under consumer law i should have been offerred new replacement or full refund. Local repair agent said phone was fried. They obviously shopped it around until someone "fixed" it. They did not send back my genuine samsung charger and headphones and when i checked the imei number to the serial number, surprise surprise it is different. I will never make the mistake of dealing with this company or any like it ever again!!!
Paul is absolutely correct - never deal with these clowns, no matter what name they use. PayPal are useless and while appearing to assist will actually lead you down the garden path as they did with me.
Hi Everyone, I did get my phone and that too a brand new one.
All good. Jay
Did you ask the brand name company in Australia if it is genuine :P and how old it is via the label on the back of the phone ?? I doubt its new LmfaO
I sent back my Samsung Galaxy S4 because it was faulty on the 15 /10/2015. I would like to know the ETA of the replacement thank you. item no.121593958474. john campey 185 hillier park res. village . gawler. south australia 5118
You will be lucky to see the phone or your money again, if you get a phone it will probably break down!
I posted phone, registered mail, on 15. 10. 15. My son bought phone. I sent all information. They answered my son on 3.11.15 saying new phone posted out. Today 24.11.15. Still no phone. Slow boat from China. I am going to buy a new phone. Not having a reliable phone since last July when I bought this phone is not good to say the least. I shall be contacting consumer affairs and any other government department who handle companies who think not playing the game is OK. They think they can play people to make a buck. I bought a new phone, so I thought. When I took the phone to Optus and Telsra they said this is not a new phone. How can you sell a refurbished phone as new without stating the fact. That is misrepresenting the item and fraudulent as far as I am concerned. I shall be seeing what action can be taken to recover costs involved with a phone not much better than useless and not having a working phone for business purposes. In future I shall make sure if the company has not got a customer complaints department that you can actually contact and a phone number that has a call you back that does not happen, then their probably is a reason for it. We learn by our mistakes. Be careful.
Update phone not posted, supposedly found in warehouse. New one sent 7.12.15 from Melbourne Tracking Thursday 10th.delivery. See if it turns up Monday14th. Keep you updated.
Good luck. My s4 failed completely. Under consumer law they are obliged to offer full refund or new replacement. After 10 weeks of frustration an evasive answers from this organisation i finally got a repaired phone. Might be my original phone though i checked the electronic serial number and its different. You probably have your phone by now. Before you buy anything from this company check the enforceable action by consumer affairs for brus australia (techrific) a couple of years ago. Much better off buying from the good guys on line and paying the extra - at least it will be an australian phone and not an import from china or hong kong and it will have an australian warranty - oh and the good guys and jb hifi etc. honour their warranties without any fuss and you can talk to a human - not these guys, try finding their phone number! When my phone died i tracked it to the local service agent i sent it to and when i phoned them they said they had told techrific the phone was dead but then techrific played me off for weeks and weeks whilst they probably sent the phone back to china to get it "repaired" - they did send me a loan phone in the end but overall service and response was very poor. They also failed to send back my genuine charger and samsung headphones - only sent back cheap rubbish after i complained.
My phone arrived 15.12.15. New phone, completely different from other s4. Looks new, not refurbished. At present makes and receives calls. Big improvement on other one that took great pictures but needed a carrier pigeon for communication. Very long drawn out saga. Hopefully all will be OK from now on.
Has anyone been ripped off by Hendiykus who lives in Geelong from BRUS aka Techrific, besides me?
Yes I was, but luckily bought through paypal & received full refund
Sorry to hear that, I guess you weren't ripped of in the end but your time has been wasted. I am still waiting for a refund since April 2015 have been to consumer affairs but they are a toothless tiger - now going through the process of VTAC Victorian Civil Administrations. I am an invalid pensioner with nothing better to do with my time!
Hi N Ristov, Since you have had a VCAT hearing, which I assume was ruled in your favour, you can now go to your nearest Magistrates' Court and have that order made enforceable. This what I am doing.
My VCAT hearing was 2 weeks ago and I emailed Techrific saying that unless they paid me by 5:00 pm Friday 4/12/2015 then I would go to the Heidelberg Magistrates' Court and make the order enforceable. Well, they did not pay (and I'm glad) because on Monday 7/12/2015 that's where I will be heading. Once this is made enforceable, Techrific will also be liable for substantial court charges, which they will have to pay, END OF STORY!!! That's why I'm glad.
For info please go to:
external link
Thanks Paul, I didn't know there were so many steps to get my money back! It makes a bit of a mockery of the fair trading system. I will soon be going to VCAT and expect to win, if going to the Magistrates Court is what I have to do to get my money back then providing it is no skin off my nose I will be taking them to court. Court costs will be a pleasure!
Finally received my refund (in full) from Techrific. I've learnt some valuable lessons: 1. Don't deal with a company that does not have a phone number on their website. 2. If you have to got to VCAT, or the equivalent in other states to get your money back, then do not hesitate to have that order enforced through a magistrates' court. Any outlay to the magistrates' is added to the amount owed to you and attracts interest on a daily basis. 3. Purchase goods via PayPal or credit card (through PayPal). You don't need a PayPal account to use you credit card this way but at least you get protection. 4. Unless the company is reputable, don't purchase from them unless they display a PayPal logo (you don't need to use PayPal but this is an indication that they have been checked out by PayPal and must abide by PayPal's rules). 5. Don't ever buy from Techrific. 6. Always read the reviews (Google Techrific reviews). 7. If buying from Ebay, make sure you check out the seller's rating by reading the negative reviews, Ratings above 99.5% are usually good sellers
Hi, Is there anybody reply with my order status for my order 71830? I am waiting since 10 days.
I have had No reply since Friday 1/5 Hope you also used Paypal I would lodge a claim ASAP
Sometimes shops can take about 28 days to ship the item out as they wait till they get a certain amount of deliveries out of the stock room plus the delivery company might be busy so either be prepared to allow more time or you could try contacting techrific if you like
if you still haven't got the item by now I would lodge a claim with Pay Pal - I think you only have a 45 day window to get your transaction reversed and refunded. I would not deal with these guys again - my original delivery took some time to get to me despite being charged the mandatory hefty freight charge - it certainly didn't come by express courier. Then there was the very lengthy warranty saga for a phone that failed after 8 weeks use - not worth the hassle - next time its Good guys for another $90 more for 2 year warranty and a shop you can visit and talk to someone.
Howdy - this name is similar to techoni / could this shop be techoni?
Maybe? If the final payments go to a company called BRUS - - I always worry when you have more than one company
True / I agree with you they are very hard to trust
I have been waiting for a refund since April on a tablet that's replacement didn't work either!
Oh ok
Hey Im in QLD can anyone tell me the best way to go about getting a refund? Fair trading, ACCC? I paid my by Visa Debt through Paypal visitor section as i couldn't remember my login? Thanks
Depends what the problem is - if it is a warrantly claim dont be as patient as I was - took 10 weeks all up to get my phone repaired and back - for major faults they should be offering refund or brand new replacement - they just never answer a straight question with a straight answer when you challenge. If you are within 45 days I think it is with Paypal you can get a dispute going otherwise you have to take other steps - the Victorian fair trading / accc are interested - if you have a legit claim against techrific lodge a formal compaint against them - its easy to do on the on line site - they may well be cheaper but if you have a fault of major problem with a phone or similar you will need patience - If i had my time over again I would have paid the extra $100 and got my S4 samsung phone from the Good Guys on line - at least you know who you are dealing with and you can visit your local store if you have a problem! Once bitten........
Get back to PAYPAL - if they get enough complaints you cant use them any more - at least I hope so.
I received a faulty Tablet from Techhorific in April, sent it back and they replaced it with an equally useless tablet. Sent that one back too and now am still waiting for a refund. Been to Consumer Affairs and they can't do anything and am now going to VCAT. November 2015
I purchased Samsung S3 in Nov 14 - it died on 5th January - intial communication good - sent phone to nominated repairer in melbourne - got no answswers to my simple questions - each message has a nice note about please ask if you have any queries - nearly 8 weeks and I dont know what is wrong with my phone still (they sent loan phone) - I want a new replacement - this is not good enough - is this a Con Job - masters of deflection - Why will you not answer a simple question with a proper answer like "what is actually wrong with my phone" - I will ask Consumer affairs about how to proceed further. you guys are a waste of space and dont treat us fairly.
Techrific is as dodgy as they come and should be put out of business. Lodge a claim with Fair Trading. I wouldn't even bother with a replacement phone cos they are also faulty. My replacement phone is almost as bad as my original. I hope I receive a refund so I can buy a new phone direct from Samsung, at least then I will have true Samsung warranty and a phone number that I can call if I have any problems.
Good luck!
Thank you - I actually received another email - still no change - said they will follow up ASAP - always get that - I have lodged a written complaint with Fair trading and written to paypal as well, as these guys use paypal - If my experience is anything to go on cant understand why paypal would be associated with them. A full refund is now my only consideration. I dont want another dodgy phone - they offered 1 year warranty - you can buy a 4G model from the Good guys on line for another $90 - that comes with 2 year warrantly and Australian A Tick from Samsung who will honour the warranty. And you can actually speak to someone in Australia if there is a problem - they dont hide behind an email process that only ever evades the question.
Thanks - I just tracked down the Melbourne repairer of my phone and he advisd me that in his opinion the phone is not repairable and it was returned to Techrific in Melbourne on the 22/1/2015 - thats 1 week after they received it from me and 5 weeks ago - I have dealt with many / many companies on ebay and the net and never had to deal with somebody like this who I now know 100% to be dishonest - I have countless emails saying they will chase up with the repairer and no mention of my phone not being repairable - it seems they shop around until they get someone who can "repair" the phone - this is a competely unacceptable way to do business. In that time that it takes to do that they just deflect and avoid the question. This in my view is competely dishonest - they should cop it sweet and refund my money - I dont want to option of replacement anything (no trust!!!)
I was just wanting to know what courier/post company they use to send items for i have brought a Go Pro Hero 4 off the Techrific Australia website and have not received my product as yet. I ordered it last Thursday therefore it has been a 1 week and i still have not received anything, has anyone got any thoughts and can help?
Thank you
Couriers Please....who are about as reliable as...sorry, I shouldn't swear.
I am facing the same problem. I ordered on 10 march but I have not received my product.
Have you guys received your item yet? I was told from they it is sent through Australia Post ……
If you have all these reviews for quick service, why has mine not even been processed? it will take another 3 days to hopefully even get a response, making it 2 weeks since i first placed my order :(
The Techrific staff have always responded to my emails reasonably quickly. They have just not been understanding and helpful so far.
I have received plenty of emails over 6 weeks that my phone has been back at the repairer but not 1 has directly answered my question - I still dont now what is wrong with my phone and its 8 weeks since it died! - I contend that if the phone is US then I should get the cost fully refunded or at the very least a Brand New phone, not some manufacturer refurbished unit. The listed repairer is the Mobile Phone Clinic in Springvale VIC which is where I sent the phone - it must have gone on a slow boat to China and back since then! My experience is that they always answer the email but never answer the question - masters of deflection and avoidance. Best thing is not to buy anything from these guys and then you wont have this very BIG problem with poor service when you have a problem with your purchase.
Can someone please let me knnow when I will be getting a refund? I need my money back? #52497
Thanks
Goodluck with that
You will never get your money back just like me, they will send you a faulty replacement at best
I ended up getting my money back purely because I lodged a paypal claim that they never responded to. If you paid with your credit card you can report it to the financial institution that you got the card through or if it was through paypal you should lodge a dispute then claim.
Hi all - lodge a claim with VCAT or Office of fair trading in your state - I received a refund AND the cost of my time refunded as well
I have asked about 4 times now whan I can expect my refund, can someone please tell me? #52497
Probably never
I am still waiting on my phone, 10 WORKING days later, when can I expect it??
Who knows it took a few weeks for mine and it came with overseas power plug but they give you adapter , my phone was faulty and I am having terrible trouble getting a refund wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy , good luck hope your phone is okay.
Who knows, they have given me a tracking number from Toll Asia but order is waiting collection has been since the 14/10/14 so I suppose they are just keeping me happy by generating an order number. nearly all there stuff is from overseas. so good luck and I hope it works.
Hello - after reading the reviews about del time and my phone hadnt arrived for nearly two weeks i contacted techrific cust service - they responded straight away and i got my phone 2 days later. You are in uk i am in australia - regularly takes 2-3 weeks for items from hong kong and china - i think the big problem is getting through our customs and postal service more so than the suppliers. Not sure what uk is like but we can get real slow service. 1st time i have used this company and its been good . My phone purchased is very good. Hopefully you finally got your phone
Hi my name is krunal i looked some items on your site i m interested to buy but your review is poor for service so i m wondering can you please give me a some hope everything will be all right? .................
It's not my site, Krunal. I just bought a voice recorder from them and had no problems.
Yes I also am just a consumer. My review was bad as they were not answering my numerous emails. Product arrived today, a week after ordering. You can always contact consumer affairs if you are ripped off by anyone.
I went to consumer affairs about this company, Techrific just ignored letters from them and Fair Trading gave up and told me to take civil action to get my money back....
My order # is 45891. Where is my refund?
No product, no reply and no refund for weeks.
Hi Tam,
I would contact Consumer Affairs Victoria or in your home state. They will be able to advise you of your options. Techrific is known to them. Good Luck, you will need it.
Thanks Marcia. I'm on to it.
Did you manage to get your product or money back? Has it been sorted?
I reported this company both to fair trading and accc, both are aware of this company but will not do anything about it. warn as many people as you know to avoid this company
