Can I eat a small salad with no meat at lunchtime with my shake??

The Lady Shake
The Lady Shake   DM

Hi Reyna, Our suggested plan is two shakes per day (one for breakfast and one for lunch) along two small snacks and a healthy evening meal watching your portion size. You are welcome to use the plan in a way that works best for you but be mindful that eating a salad will still contribute to your total calories over the course of the day. The TLS Team

I just have a coffee for breakfast. And a shake for lunch. Then salad and meat for dinner. Not loosing wieght. Is that coz we are having too bigger dinner. Or I need to have breakfast with this plan

Rachel W hello .... Meat and salad is totally fine for dinner. I don't have breakfast either. Perhaps instead of coffee, you could have the shake instead - have a light snack in the afternoon and a normal dinner. Patience is the key when it comes to losing weight.

I have had half a bag sitting in the cupboard for a few months, is it still safe to use?

The Lady Shake
The Lady Shake   DM

Hi There Emily All of our products have a best before date of 12 months stamped on them, it is OK to use the shakes for a short time after the best before date however we would recommend purchasing fresh product to continue with your plan. The Lady Shake Team

It has not expired, I was just wondering if it needs to be used within a certain period after opening?

The Lady Shake
The Lady Shake   DM

Hi There Emily If the shake that you opened a few months ago has not expired then your question on if it would be suitable for use would depend a lot of how your shake has been stored. We recommend that it is fully resealed after the last use and that it is not stored in direct sunlight or heat. If you are at all in any doubt then we would advise you to purchase fresh product. I have recently started having my Lady Shake again after leaving it for a few months and it is fine. The bag was sealed properly and it was still in date. If it's still in date, try it and you decide if it is still good.

I'm trying to find out if there's caffeine in the lady shake flavours other than the coffee flavour. There's nothing listed anywhere about caffeine but green tea extract is in all of them and I read that green tea extract can sometimes have upto 600mg of caffeine in it which is crazy high so wanting to confirm that yes caffeine is in all the flavours in the form of green tea extract?

Isabel

I thought there was only caffeine in the lady shake GO range?

The Lady Shake
The Lady Shake   DM

Hi There Rebecca The Lady Shake contains trace amounts of green tea extract and about 0.5mg of caffeine per serve. However, you would need to consume around 90 Man or Lady Shakes to receive the same amount of caffeine you would in one cup of coffee. Our new Lady Shake GO! is a full meal replacement with the benefit of 125mg of caffeine. Kind Regards The Lady Shake Team

So my question is.. the fact that this shake gets thicker over time is that what makes you feel full??

Talll
Talll · Chocolate

I have only recently started the lady shake (a total of 6 days spread over 2 weeks - I cannot commit to a 5 or 7 days in a row plan due to work related travel and lunch events on some days), and I am starving all the time on these days. It is making my dinner meals “bad choices” because by then I am ready to eat my own arm, and a salad ain’t going to cut it. I drink a minimum of 2L of water a day (usually more), and I wait as long as I possibly can before the next shake or bar or handful of nuts, but by the time I get to it I am so hungry I finish it in record time and sit there still hungry. What else can I do to manage this? I was kind of hoping this would help my (clearly weak) willpower but I think this might be worse, because I have never spent more of my life daydreaming about not be hungry.

The Lady Shake
The Lady Shake   DM

Hey Talll. Thanks so much for getting in touch.  It is often hard for your body to adjust to changes in diet and you may find yourself having fleeting feelings of hunger that can simply be attributed to your body's habit of eating.

You shouldn't feel hungry on the Man/Lady Shake program as you should be having two shakes, one meal and two snacks.  However, depending on what you were eating before it may take a little time for your body to adjust to the changes.

The best way to prevent hunger is to make sure you are drinking 2-3 litres of water per day.  Often you might think you are hungry, but in fact, you are just thirsty - weird I know! Carry healthy snacks with you when you can - this may include a small handful (30g) of raw nuts (no peanuts), fruit (no more than 2 pieces per day), a small tin of tuna, boiled egg and any snacks from our "recommended snack list".

When eating your main meal, you can add extra non-starchy vegetables (mostly greens) and unlimited salad to your meal to keep you fuller for longer.

Let us know how you go with this and if we can help you further.  Stick with it, you're doing great and this will pass.

If you have any other questions, please let us know.

I found this when using shakes...then I found out I was intolerant to dairy. Try the shakes with a nut milk or try the vegan shakes...see if it makes a difference.

Why is the lady shake so thick? I find it difficult to get through a 350ml two scoop shake.

The Lady Shake
The Lady Shake   DM

Hey Sue....350 mls is a starting point for water... just keep adding until you get to a consistency you like. I have 500 mls in mine! TLS

We do have a few recipes on our website. You could substitute the standard powder for the Vegan powder. Protein balls, muffins etc. ENJOY! And let us know how you go.

If you reach your goal weight do you discontinue and if so do you put the weight back on .? Maureen

The Lady Shake
The Lady Shake   DM

Hi Maureen... most people cut back to one shake (replacing breakfast) and maintain their weight thru this.... but some people have also lost the weight and then completely transitioned to food well too! Personal preference!

What are the exact ingredients of the Vegan Lady Shake? I am wanting to purchase the chocolate one to start with but I read on one of the reviews they contain small amounts of caffeine- does that include the Vegan Lady Shake? I have heart arrhythmia so I steer away from caffeine usually.
