I purchased a Tiffany 925 Bracelet with a turquoise heart at Tiffanys Hong Kong quite a few years ago, the Bracelet is kept in a Tiffany Jewellery Bag and the heart has turned a green colour, is that for keeping it in the bag for a long period? Can this be rectified?
Bought the Atlas hinged bracelet in NY at the weekend (1250 dollars). Twice saw it had opened while wearing it in NY.Got back home to the UK and found it was no longer on my wrist. Luckily had fallen into laundry wash bag. Has any one else heard of problems with this bracelet?
I bought my wife a tiffany notes ring and she wore it for several hours and noticed her finger turned green. What in the world is going on?
Hi Spencer, I'm not an expert but I believe that has to do with the acidity in your wife's skin, she's reacting to silver, I don't think it has anything to do with the quality of the metal. The staff at Tiffany's have always been extremely helpful, almost falling over themselves to assist, might be worth giving them a call to ask their advice.
It may be a reaction to the polish used to clean the ring when it was purchased. I would suggest your wife get her ring cleaned to see if that helps
Yes and no with the acidity issue. My daughter and I both have Tiffany bean neckalces. Both tarnish and turn black fast. Both are supposedly quality silver. Interesting enough other silver itmes we have no issues with. Older Tiffany products we have no issues with. Seems to be they must have changed something over the past few years and quality is out the door. I have silver bracelets, necklaces, charms, etc and no issues except with my bean.
I have been looking into purchasing a Tiffany necklace for $550, I am not sure that I should purchase it now reading these reviews. What do you think?
I have a Tiffany bracelet, I've had it for maybe 3 years, i love it and have had no problem with it. The ring is still a problem, the second one I got showed up a water mark within a couple of months, I've returned it again and they've offered either another replacement or something else. I can't fault the customer service at all, I honestly believe them when they say they've worked there for years and never seen problems like mine, they're just shocked. After all of this I will be happy to exchange for something else, I will avoid stones though.
Customers are spending big dollars on buying the Tiffany brand it dosnt necessarily mean the overall quality is there. Like others here you can't fault the customer service.
Spend your $500 at another store. The quality of Tiffany has gone downhill and the service sucks. And God forbid if you need repairs to your toggle bracelet which is so badly made that it keeps on opening and falling down on the ground 20 times a day! Once you have given them your money they forget about you so quickly it makes your head spin.
Has anyone else got the Victoria wedding band with diamonds in platinum and experiencing issues with it such as catching clothing, etc.? My ring is beautiful and I love it but it's very rough and I have already ruined several items of clothing!
Hi Mrs VV, how long have you had the band? I'm afraid I don't have anything like that, so I haven't experienced those issues. The problem is probably that the claws (if it's a claw setting) are catching on your clothing. I'd take it back to Tiffany's to make sure all the claws are flush against the diamonds (or you risk losing some, especially if they continue to catch). But unfortunately, the rough feeling is just what occurs when you have clusters of diamonds (or even a single diamond sometimes) as there are so many little claws holding those diamonds in.
My mum told me she couldn't wear her solitaire engagement ring at all when I was a baby because she just kept scratching me with it.
Lauren thank you for your reply :0) I have never had a ring like this before either and you may be right in that clusters if diamonds can be rough. I contacted Tiffany and they asked me to take it into a local store to have it checked. Unfortunately my nearest store is a 5 hour flight away! I've noticed that Tiffany have changed the design on the Victoria band and was wondering if it was due to others experiencing the same as myself. Many thanks again for your reply :0) Sue
