Hi guys, I recently purchased a 2023 kluger gxl awd 2.4l turbo and i mainly drive it local (suburban driving). I’ve noticed the fuel consumption is very low, for 68L tank it won’t reach 400km averaging 16L/per100km. Is that normal or the car is faulty?

Hi I bought a 2018 Kluger last October, have had no dramas with it. Got it serviced for 100,000kms 10 days ago, lagged a little bit when I started it, thought it would just come good having been serviced. Drove the car Saturday morning, then packed it up to go camping, couldn’t get the boot door down, pressing the buttons wouldn’t work and had to manually pull it down. Tried to start the car, it wouldn’t and came up with an alert about braking and pull over to a safe place. Tried a few more times and still wouldn’t start, just kept bringing up the same alert and making this ticking noise like it was trying to. Now after a couple of days of being away, I’ve tried again and an alert says ‘Check Entry and Start System’, accessories don’t come on or anything. I’ve changed the batteries in the remote entry buttons thinking that will help, and now it is locked in my garage and won’t open. Has anyone else had electrical trouble like this?? Has something being missed or not finished with the service. My service centre is 1.5hr away, so unsure if I just get RACV to look at it and maybe tow it??

What a drama, I’m no mechanic, I’d ring the place you had it serviced, they might have a solution, almost sounds like the car battery is flat and won’t let you open the door. Have you tried the key in the remote to manually open the door. RACV is the next option, hope you have a good outcome

My problem is the engine fuse box. It’s burnt out gonna be a whole lot of $ for me

Our battery keeps going flat. Nothing wrong with battery. Etc. If you run hazard lights without engine going ..even for couple mins. Go's flat

I ended up calling RACV and it was the battery, flat as. It had corrosion being the original one. What annoys me is it was just serviced at a Toyota dealership and nothing said about the battery. $300 later and a very big inconvenience.

Hi. Has anyone get up 600km for a full tank? I can only get up to 400km for a full tank in normal mode and around 500km on eco mode.

Yup I get about 650km per tank, but most of my driving is rural roads. I have the 2018 model

Brand new car. It seems battery discharged very quickly. Every time I need to jump start. Even if I drive more than an hour today, next I couldn' t start the car, I need jump start. Dealer checked and said there is no issues. Anybody facing similar issue.

Did you find out what was wrong with it?, I am getting my GXL Hybrid, next week.

The 12V battery was replaced by the dealer. They told me few cells in the original battery died.

I have two day old Klugger and same happening dealer charged all day and doesn’t hold charge and parking assist light flashes

Hi, I just bought Kluger GX AWD 2018 model. I want to install navigation system in it and want to change the Ac panel and want to install climate control panel in it. Is it possible? If yes then how and where can I do it?

Hi, I don't own one but am looking at buying one. I am confused as it says the GX doesn't come with sat nav. However looing at Carsales.com, I have come across 3 2018 model GX's that do. So either there is an option to upgrade the panel or some come with it. Don't know if this helps.
